Whenever I need a flower for that special occasion I always shop at Kellis. They have many different floral options, especially for people going to high school dances. Orders are completed very fast and the florists try every time to make your order look perfect. The prices are fair the quality of work that gets put into each specialized creation. I highly recommend shopping here for all of your floral needs.
The museum is very beautiful and shows what a town would look like during the civil war era. Their reenactments are very fun and well done. The shops have that old time feel which makes you really feel like you are back in the 1800s. The museum is quite big, but is very easy to navigate. Someone is always around to greet you warmly and answer any questions you have about the time period.
Great place to go for fun and education. Many exhibits for kids are very fun; they even have a Pac-man station to play if youre really bored. The museum also strives for academics as it hosts the AP US History conference every year. Professors from colleges come in and teach students all about our nation and its history.
This museum is fun for the entire family. The exhibits they have are educational and fun. The Frederick Douglass exhibit is great because it shows the history of someone who was a very important figure in history that came from our city, Rochester. Great place for schools to bring their kids for a fun yet educational class trip.
This orchestra always plays challenging music that is very entertaining. Not only do they do concerts in their own concert hall they also travel around the community and offer free concerts to the public in local auditoriums. This orchestra shows that it loves its community and the orchestra and the city of Rochester have a great relationship together.
I have been getting my haircut here for my entire life and have never left disappointed. The staff is very friendly and makes the experience of getting your haircut a fun one. There is a great supply of magazines for people to read. There is everything from news to sports or entertainment to read about. There are toys to keep your young ones occupied while you get your hair done.
Sebreeze is a great park and is always striving to become better. The quantum loop is still my favorite, but new rides keep coming and closely challenge for my favorite ride. The water park in is secluded enough so that you get a water park feel even though you are in a mostly amusement park type setting. The staff is very helpful and its cheaper than Darien Lake and even better too in some aspects.
This newspaper is good at supplying you news, but often is not very bipartisan. Most of the articles in the paper lean to the left, which upsets some moderate readers. Outside of the actual newspaper the business runs very well. If you have a subscription problem they fix it in an instant. If you need to cancel for a short period of time they never screw up and charge you by mistake.
My education at Spencerport has been great with teachers who challenge me and make learning fun. The administration is horrible though. Principals change every year and counselors change often too. The counseling office is unorganized as many students applications get sent to the wrong college often. The teachers they send on field trips are not responsible and do not watch the kids often. During one recent trip many students bought alcohol.
Salmon Creek is a great all-around country club. They have a nice indoor soccer field I have played on many times. There are also tennis courts and raquetball courts for your use. The gym has great equipment and the staff is very friendly. It is a small club but still is very well put together. The people they partner with to give lessons are great.
