Gtech Child Care Ctr
This child care facility exemplifies what daycare should be. They are extremely well run. Children are properly cared for and the staff is experienced and compassionate about children. I can't say enough about this establishment except that if you have the opportunity, visit it. You won't be disappointed.

Rhode Island Design Ctr
Cardi's has the largest selection of furniture in this area. They carry everything from medium end to high end furniture. There prices are reasonable but not spectacular. Their service dept. is excellent. If you have a problem with your purchase, they will come right out and repair, replace or remove it.
PROS: Large selection and range in quality

Elan Salon & Day Spa
I have taken my two daughters here on few occasions for the full treatment before a prom and for senior portraits. Spent a lot of money and other than the make up application, have never been satisfied. The nails were done quickly and nothing special that we could not have done at home with our own nail polish. I have yet to have their hair come out looking anything but ordinary. Fantastic Sams does better updo's. I purchased a $200 gift certificate for my niece when she was pregnant for a day at the spa and she was very disappointed and told me she would not go there again.
PROS: you name it they do it
CONS: They just don't do it well!

I have purchased three cars here and have never been disappointed. My sales experience was excellent and the service department is wonderful. You won't have to pay a fortune to get your oil changed and the service dept. won't recommend services that are not needed or required.

Pro-Grooming
I have two small breed dogs with long hair that need grooming every 6 weeks at minimum. I have been to four different groomers prior to Pro Grooming. I was unhappy with all of them prior to coming here. They either didn't remember to perform all of the services requested (i.e. nails cut, ear hair remove, etc) or provided poor and/or uneven hair cutting. One place that I took them too was so filthy you would not leave anything that breathes there. Pro Grooming is clean, professional, well run, and have employees that care about/enjoy pets. You will almost always have the same person groom your pet each time they come so your pet will come to know and be comfortable with them (and visa versa). They are very busy and appointments will need to be made weeks, even months in advance.

Foster Veterinary Clinic
Dr. Hattan is very good with the animals and can always find time to fit you in or take a phone call from a nervous "parent". She is helpful and careful not to recommend products or procedures that would be costly or unnecessary. She is careful not to make the cost of caring for your pets so high that you would be unwilling or reluctant to bring them in for treatment or for routine care. Dr. Hattan will take the time to call you with an update on your pet after surgery or even if just being kept overnight for observation. You always know that you are leaving them in good hands and they will be well cared for. Office visits will not cost you an arm and a leg as is the case with most veterinary services. Even surgical procedures will not leave you running to the bank for a refinance. I was shocked when I rushed my pet to an area animal hospital one evening and ended up with a $240 bill for a 5 minute consultation, one x-ray, and an injection. I was there maybe 45 minutes to an hour, most of which was wait time. I didn't even pay this much to Dr. Hattan when my pet had general anesthesia to have two teeth extracted and was kept overnight, sedated and sent home with antibiotics. If you are looking for a good vet who cares about your pet (and your wallet) and who's staff is knowledgeable, friendly and competent, then check out Foster Veterinary Clinic.

Compass Appraisal Network PC
I have had many an appraisal done in the 20+ years that I have been a property owner. Never have I had a worse experience. The appraiser did such an incredibly poor job on the appraisal that the lender was not able to underwrite the mortgage or place it with investors for underwriting. The appraised value was not an issue. It came back more than sufficient for our needs, however the appraiser failed to do the property on the property and placed inaccurate and out right false statements in the report. After a significant amount of work on my part, I was able to prove that the statements were in fact incorrect and requested they be removed. However the appraiser chose to further clarify the statements rather than remove them and again failed to correctly state the facts and completely missed another section which negated the correction. In the interim, my price lock expired, was renewed for an additional 30 days and expired again. Limited to 1 extension, I was forced to lock at a much higher rate as the rates climbed considerably over the months that it took to try and resolve the matter. Having prepaid for the appraisal, my only recourse was to get it corrected. After repeated attempts and much wasted time, the issue was brought to the attention of the appraisers superior who examined the file and had the appraisal revised yet again. Although the final version clarified the issue, the prior inaccuracies remain and an addendum was added to the statement clarifying the issue. Needless to say, after all that had occurred no one would underwrite the loan, they had all been scared off by the prior events and would not even allow us the opportunity to have a new appraisal performed. The lender suggested that I reapply at a small bank or credit union that doesnt sell their mortgages, which I did at and was approved with a new appraisal company (more $$) and at a higher interest rate.

Petteruti Stephen J Do
Dr. Petteruti truly exemplifies what a family doctor should be. He cares about his patients taking time to listen to each of them as individual. He is compassionate and intelligent. You never feel as though he is rushing to get from one room to the next. As a matter of fact, the opposite of that is much closer to the truth. When he is treating you, you are the only patient that matters at that time. You are never rushed or feel like you didn't have a chance to say or discuss something. If you are looking for a physician who can manage all aspects of your care, then look no further. He does not refer you to specialist after specialist. Specialists are only utilized when the problem can not be resolved or are much to complex. Asthma, allergy, dermatology, gynecology, respiratory......he does it all amazingly well. You will have to wait to be seen. Sometimes that wait can be long, but rest assured when it is your turn you will have all the time you need. I not only would recommend him to anyone looking for a new physician, but have. The people that I have referred have thanked me repeatedly and have switched there children and other family members as well. I came to Dr. Petteruti with two daughters in their early teens, not the easiest patients to deal with. They both love him and would never go anywhere else. Although they are away at college now, they both not only make appointments for when they are home, but call his office whenever they have a problem even though they are 1300 miles away.

House Of Wu
I have been here countless times over the years, always the same great food and service. The menu selection is excellent and the portion sizes are significant. You will never walk away hungry and you wallet will not be lighter. Nothing fancy here. No need for anything other than jeans and t-shirt. It is a small, causal family owner and operated Chinese restaurant. Check it out you won't be disappointed.
PROS: Consistently Great Food, Cheap Prices, Large Portions
CONS: Could use some remodeling
