The children's museum is great fun for little kids. They have a lot of thing to do for infants. there are places for them to have a lot of stimulating with color. there is also a grocery store for the kids to play in that is a lot of fun. the price is not too bad to get into. but if you are going to go more than once you may want to get a membership. but this museum is defiantly for younger children.
The international spy museum was so much fun to go to. Almost all of the exhibits are interactive with things for you to do to learn to be a spy. they also have an exhibit about woman spy's that was done so well. it can be busy so expect to wait in some lines to do some of the actives but the wait is well worth it. it was so fun and almost took up an inter day. it is not very expensive to go to but you do have to buy tickets.
This museum was so fun to go to. When you walk in there is a giant elephant right in the lobby. It is also a great bargain. To get into the museum is completely free. you can easily spend the whole day there as well. The hope diamond is always busy so be prepared to wait in line. but it is really cool to see. this is a must see when you are in DC.
Mesa Verde has so many intrusting things to see. it is truly a whole days entertainment. It was not very expensive to get into as well. There is an extra turn that you can buy to actually go into one of the cliff dwellings. although it was more i found it to be well worth the cost. It was so cool to see rest of the cliffs from inside one. there are also sites the you can drive around and see without going on a cliffs.
Bents fort was a fun to go to. It was easy to find and not very expensive to get into. When you park you have to walk pretty far and also with in the park is a lot of walking. so I would were good walking shoes. all of the paths are dirt so I would suggest wearing closed shoes. the gift shop was fun and had a lot of cool things so you should stop by it.
This is a great bargain for when you are staying in DC. The emission is completely free. They exhibits are so well done they you should expect to take more than one day to see it all. The first wives exhibit is unbelievable to go see. You should however plan to eat somewhere else. The cafeteria was very expensive and the food could be described as mediocre at best. But this is a must see when you go to visit DC.
The wings over the rockies museum is a small but they have several interesting thing to see. Out side they have two old plans that you can look at and really get a fell for them that you don't usually get. All though there space is small they have done an exhalent job of emplaning there subject in well thought out and done exhibits. I would defiantly go back.
The art museum is was ok to visit. The traveling exhibits that they have are usually well done and very intrusting. The rest of the museum is fairly well done. However I found that the price was some what high for the experience. I also found that it was very hard to get to. The drive there was not too bad but parking was very hard. If you are going with someone with limited mobility you have a very hard time getting the too the actual building.
This antiques shop was so much fun too look around. They have a wide verity of things. They have salt sellers that can be difficult to fine. They almost always have them. They also have antiques from several different time periods. Not just one so you have a greater chance of finding something that you will like.
This hotel is great to stay at. It is right on the beach. When you go out the back doors you just have to walk across the boardwalk to reach the sand. It is also right in the middle of a bunch of little gift shops that are all along the boardwalk. They have rooms that over look the ocean. Those rooms have balcony that you can open the doors and here the sound of the waves all night long. I had such a good time there.
