Prestonwood Animal Clinic is a very spacious and clean animal hospital. I was impressed with how well-kept it was, there wasn't any animal fur on the seats and it generally smelled really nice. My appointment was at 1 PM to have my dog looked at, and, they were ready to take me in at around 1:05. The nurse was very kind and worked well with animals. She was very social and kept me calm. She did a few quick tests such as weight and looking inside the mouth, wrote some things down and said the doctor would be with me shortly. I waited for about 20 minutes before he entered the room, I was dissapointed with that long wait, but when he arrived, he was very smart and was able to detect the problem within about 10 minutes. I was pleased. When I left with my healthy dog, I was dissapointed at the bill. It was very expensive, but the quality job done was worth it. If you care about your pets and want the best possible job done, check in at the Prestonwood Animal Clinic!
The Southcreek Community Pool is a very spacious and offers a total of 4 different pools within the facility. One is a smaller one that is shallow and allows for smaller kids to play or adults with children to teach them how to swim, overall, this pool can get quite crowded at times, but there's usually enough space for comfort. Another section of this facility has a LARGE waterslide , usually, the wait to go down it is 10 minutes, so, be prepared to wait, but it's worth it as it's very twisty and a lot of fun. The other two pools inside are the professional swimmers pool where if you want to swim for exercise you can, these are maked off in lanes and it's very large and spacious, the other one is a pool for everyone else. It's very deep and allows for all kinds of swimming fun. Employees are always on duty and are generally very nice, enforing the rules in a nice tone. Price is expensive, but it's worth it because all my kids love it and it's a great way for me to relax and know my kids will be safe. I recommend it!
Love 2 Learn is a great, fun little shop! Inside, they have a wide variety of school supplies that include backpacks, bookbags, pencils, and binders. All of their materials are very useful and can help you during those last miute rushes when you need some extra popsickle sticks for your child's school project! Employees are very helpful and can help locate things for you, but that usually isn't the case because of the organization of the store. Everything is clean and easy to find. Prices are great as well, many are discounted heavily and there are usually a lot of small discounts such as "buy 2 packs of pencils get 1 pack free". It really helps add to make a good discount. Selection is great, price is great, employees are very helpful, this is a great store!
Electronics Boutique offers a wide selection of computer related products, video games, and computers to purchese. I was impressed with their selection for such a sized store, but they manage to keep their large selection organized throughout the store without making it feel cluttered over overwhelming. Employees are very helpful and kind and will explain what computer parts you need, work with you to get your computer fixed, and overall, they just know their product and what to do. Their prices are vary reasonable for their video games and their computer parts, but their computer repair rate is EXPENSIVE. If the problem takes over a day, they charge you a 25 dollar overnight charge which is quite annoying. Usually, they can fix the problems quickly and simply and end up doing a good job. Good service, good price on most items, and a quality job done makes me easily give Electronics Boutique 4/5 stars!
Just Add Water is a quality store that sells a wide selection of swimwear, although the selection is mainly for women. I was dissapointed by this and wish they had a greater selection for men, but it was still okay. For women, they have a huge selection of swimwear, two and one pieces, most of which were very stylish and available in a variety of sizes. Their fitting rooms do have mirror, but that are very small and a large mirror is only available out in the middle of the store, so, needless to say, I was a little embarresed to walk out in my swimwear to look at myself in the large mirror. Prices are fair, nothing amazing, but still very good good. Overall, the high quality of the selection they have is great, a lot of it looks and feels great, their employees are helpful and friendly, and overall, I left very satisfied!
Spring Golf Center is HUGE! I was shocked at first to see how large their green was! There are so many holes that allow for at least 3 hours of playtime. Rarely do you ever have to wait for people ahead of you to finish, because the course is so large that it's all evened out so you can go at your own pace. The course is quality, with many traps and difficulties. It evenly distributes hard and easier shots. The traps are placed in good locations and overall, there was a lot of work and care put into the design of this course. The employees are very nice and if you are frequent customer, they will get to know you and it just makes the experience even better. They are very kind and will sometimes just give you personal discounts if they are having a good day. However, the membership fee is expensive, but that's ONLY because the course is so large and so well-kept. It's money well spent. I recommend you check out this expansive golf course!
Golden Touch is a jewelers with a lot of selection. The store is small, but VERY clean and well-kept. Even though their store is small, their selection is wide and varied. I was very impressed with the number of diamonds they had and their selection of earrings, bracelets, and necklaces, many of which looked AMAZING. I found a pair of earrings to my liking and it looked absolutly stunning! The employee who was there was very kind and helpful and worked with me to help point out items I might like. He was very social and made the experience very calm. The price was a tad expensive, but their flexible payment plans helped calm that price. I left with some beautiful earrings, satisfied with their selection and service. Recommended.
'The Book Attic' is a quality store, that's moderatly sized, it could be bigger, but it's not that small and allows for plenty of room. I was attracted to this store because of their advertised 'Buy 2 Get 1 Free' book sale. Once I was inside, I was a little dissapointed with their selection, but everytihng was clearly organized so, I knew where to look. However, when I looked at the shelf, I couldn't find any of the books on this list I made. I went up to the counter for help and the employee was VERY nice and friendly and social, she checked and couldn't find any of the books either (*many were fairly popular*). So, I looked around some more for some interesting books, 90% of what I saw I had never heard of. Still, I did a blind buy on a few books and they turned out to be a good read. In conclusion, their sales combined with their already low prices make for some great deals, their helpful and kind employees add to a positive experience, but sadly, their severely lacking selection hurts this store. A lot of the books are small and hard to find, so, when you come, expect to browse and find new books that sound appealing based on the summaries. I recommend it.
Nesbits Cleaners is a spacious and tidey cleaners that looks very good on the inside, but getting beyond appearence, 'Nesbit Cleaners' begins to fail. Their employees are not helpful and tend to be very rude. They generally are not sociable, one employee in paticular was chatting on the phone for a personal issue and she kept putting one finger in my face and I stood there for 10 minutes and she kept talking about her life, nothing about the company for which she was working for, I left though. Their cleaners however, do a good job, their machines are brand new and high-quality, but the prices are just VERY high. The price point is way too high no matter how good of a job is performed. I just wouldn't recommend this cleaners, while it may be clean and have new, quality machines, their expensive price and lousey service give this a 2 star rating. I would not Recommend this cleaners to anyone.
Tomball Museum Center is a very informative museum which offer a wide variety of exhibits and presentations to see. In front of each presentation, if a moderatly size description of what is being depicted in the presentation. These are well informative and helpful for adults, and the visual treat will appeal to the kids. The museum is a very large 2 story building with all kinds of exhibits to see. Kids will be generally amused, but after 30 minutes of walking and seeing presentations, kids will become bored and tired and start to complain. Thankfully, there is a little mini-theater inside which plays a 15 minute short film that's very entertaining and informative. This is great way to rest up after walking around. However, they only show that same 15 minute movie and there's nothing else like it in the museum. So, you can get tired quickly, still there's a lot to see and do. Guided tours are presented twice a day and these can be lots of fun but they move pretty fast, so, you won't have a lot of time to stay and look at the presentations. Price is expensive, very expensive, but it's for the most part, worth it. I enjoyed myself! Recommended.
