Not my favorite jeweler at all. I purchased my wife's diamond earring from here and had an okay experience. Went back to purchase her diamond engagement ring and had a horrible experience. Prices were high for lesser grade diamonds and I found the staff not as helpful as they could have been. Wound up buying the diamond that I wanted for a better price over at Smyth's.

Children's Eye Care

These folks are excellent at catering to the children. They have really mastered the art of examining children. Dr. Walthermann is very good and we've been very pleased with her. The office staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is a little difficult, with a very small back lot and street parking only. Well worth the parking pains though.

Professional Arts Pharmacy

What a great resource! These guys are great at mixing up medicine in a disguise for my cat. A great way to get out of shoving pills down you animal's throat is by having it turned into a suspension. After using them primarily for pets services, I found that I needed them to mix drugs for me as well. They were able to mix up a difficult to find suspension.

Bill's Music House Inc

A great place to shop if looking for equipment. With so much stuff they spread across two buildings. You name the instrument, they have it. You can pick up and try the intruments before you buy.

They also service intruments and equipment. They have repaired my Peavey speaker every time I've blown the base.

Great knowledgeable staff! Very friendly and helpful.

Pet Peddlers

Super friendly staff will greet you at this little pet shop. They carry the pet supplies you'd expect to find in a smaller shop, along with animals (fish, birds, etc.) They have a grooming service as well. Prices were fair for supplies and there was always someone to help with a large bag of food or cat litter.

Baltimore Tattoo Museum

This parlor was recommended by a friend and it was a great experience. I enjoyed looking at the displays of the history of tattoos, flash and equipment (yes, it really is a museum too!) My artist, dave, designed a custom piece based on a design I had and some discussion. He had a light hand for a newbie and made for an overall great experience. Definately consider if looking for a tattoo in the area!

Garland's Garden Center

Garland's doesn't look like much from the road, but there is a good sized garden center hidden behind that facade. The staff is friendly. They aren't all knowledgeable, but they will get you connected with the right people to answer your questions. There is a good selection of plants that will grow well in the area.

During the fall they hold a 50% clearance on the nursery plants. I picked up a beautiful large rose bush at a steal of a price. Definately worth a stop by.

Olenka School Of Music

This school is great for those who's kids are showing interest in music early on. They have programs for kids as young as 9 months (although I found my son wasn't quite ready at that point.) They offer a free trial class to give you and your child a chance to explore the facilites and class. The instructors and staff are friendly and great with the kids.

The "Music Together" program is a guided exploration of songs, dance and some intruments (like sticks, bells, tamborines.)

Ridgeway Mower Sales & Service

Ridgeway saved me from having to buy a new mower. They were able to order the part that I needed to repair my mower. Labor prices were on the high side and not worth it for my push mower (if I had a more expensive John Deere tractor, then I'd let them have at it.)

Baynesville Electronics

If you need an electronic component, you will find it here. A nice sized store with a very large selection of electronic parts. They're know for their excellent customer service. The folks there will help you hunt down the smallest resistor or capacitor.
