Bethesda is, in my opinion, the greatest overall hospital in Cincinnati. Although they may not be "THE best" in each individual area, they are at the top of their game and overall have some of the best programs in Cincinnati. Nurses and Doctors have always been friendly, too.
Johnny's Toys has a great selection of those hard-to-find items that aren't always at Toys-r-Us or KBToys. They also have the popular toys. Their stuff animals are great! Staff is friendly and fun place for kids! (adults too)
The Zoo and Botanical Gardens is a great place to visit-espcially with families of young children. The gardens are beautiful and the zoo is clean with lots of fascinating animals to watch. Everything appears to be well taken care of. They also have some great education programs!
Going to the Beach is a lot of fun on a really hot day. Full price admission is high (not as bad as PKI) but you can find better deals out there. This is a great place for families as there are a variety of rides and pools.
PKI has been one of my favorite places since I was a child. Now, prices seem sky-high and the entertainment factor just isn't what it used to be. Lines are too long, and after awhile it seems like there's nothing left good to do. But still, if you get cheap tickets, it's worth one or two days a year!
Mannerino's has a huge selection of sheet music for bands, piano, solo instrument, voice -- everything you could imagine. Prices are fair and empoyees are friendly and welcoming. Store also has the quaint small town feel. Great place!!!
Alamo has a decent selection of electronics without the chain store feeling. They price match and are very helpful and friendly. Great variety of Sony and Yamaha as well as the other high-end names!
Gamestop is a great place to find new and used games. Their prices are great and they have a money-back guarantee that the game works. Sure, not all may have manuals or cases, but they work and they're cheap!!!
Mike's Express Carwash is THE best carwash around. They always use warm water and you can feel you car getting clean as you drive through. The soap actually foams and the air actually blows all the water off your car!
Unfortunately when I bought my car there was a small nick in the winshield. So the dealership said they would cover the expense and sent me to Franks. Got the winshield replace and everything was fine for a while. I got this all done in January and every time I would drive over a speed bump or pothole, you could hear the window rattle like there was still glass in there or the seal wasn't great. We took it to the carwash and got pink and blue soap spilling into our car. Took it back and they slapped some black "tar" sealer around out winshield. It looked very messy and we were quite disappointed in the workmanship.
