Kos Active
My gf and I were looking for fitness apparel and she loved this place. It offers such a wide range of yoga clothing... not those boring outfits but actually really cool designers outfit. She loved it. Also the prices are GREAT. It's really cheap! And the staff is so helpful and nice. She didn't even have to look through all the racks to find her size. someone helped us out nicely.
Val Surf
Though this store is nowhere near the beach, I still go there to get my equipmets! They offer like boards, gears , and accessories (footwear, sunglasses...) at very cheap prices. They are way much cheaper than those stores around the beach. Parking is easy, and staff is helpful since I didn't know much about surfing.
Gillian Bissett Colour Salon
This place specializes in hair color, highlights... They do a GREAT job. Both me and my gf went there and we both loved the results. They take time to listen to you and really try to figure out what you want. they also offer some hair removal things and aromatherapy that my gf tried and she was satisfied with it. All in all you go there and come relax, and happy !
Studio City Tattoo
I searched on the internet for a tattoo shop when I wanted to get one. I visited this place and let me tell you that it was a really fun experience. the place has a pirate theme so it's really cool. The place is really really clean so I didn't fear to catch anything and the guys are professionals! The wait can be long... but totally worth it!
Notorious
This little unknown boutique is actually pretty fun!! it doesn't attractive from outside but inside has a LOT of fun stuff like special tee shirts written Mrs Krutcher... It's pretty small so the fitting room is not that spacious. But it makes it all the more fun. Parking is difficult on the street but there are residential parking a little further.
Polkadots & Moonbeams
This intimate neighborhood store is really fun to go to! They have almost everything from Juicy tops to fancy dresses. I take my gf there all the time. She likes the vibe and the colors. The staff is nice and the prices are pretty cheap. The only downside is that it's located in downtown thus hard parking!!! Cruise 3rd street for a meter ans watch out for the signs that says residents with permit only!!
Johnny B Wood Annex
This showroom is located in the heart of Venice. It totally fits the atmosphere of hippy cool and chic modern twist to furniture from the 50s and 60s. I love it! They have like purple couches for $3000 or chrome and plastic. You can also call with the owner to make an appointment if you are not free on the business hours. All in all, it's a pretty interesting place for furniture shopping!
Sportie La
This store is really cramped and offers a wide range of athelic shoes ( puma, nike, adidas...) and clothing (sweaters...). However, the store is small and when it's a bit crowed it makes it quite difficult to find something good. The prices are lower than other places (between $30 to $70). All in all, you gotta search and dig to find a perfect pair. Go if you have a lot of time and patience!!
Standard-Downtown Los Angeles
I love this hotel because their furniture and decoration is so original!! Their rooms come in different sizes from cheap to humongous and wow sizes! We stayed in one of them that had like a shower in the middle of the street!! The really fancy thing is the roof top bar. You get an increadible view of LA at night. The place is pretty nice to lounge and spend some time with friends.
Adobe Road
This place sells Indian gifts and jewelry. You can find pretty inexpensive and cool gifts or really fancy jewelry. You can also find a lot of stuff to decorate your house like Indian arrows. So you pretty much got all ranges of prices. The jewelry has lots of selection of precious stones like ambers and the pieces go for roughly $100.
