I'm not 100 percent sure why this is under galleries, although I seem to remember seeing some art up on my last visit. If you like making jewelry, like my wife does, this is a great place to explore for lots of cool and unique beads. They also have a lot of "new age" stuff. They offer classes as well in jewelry if you want to give it a try.
College Town is one of the newer campus bookstores on the OSU campus. I went here during college to buy textbooks, and like anothe reviewer said, I was happy to see that thei prices were very clearly marked, something not all campus bookstores do. They also sell OSu memorabilia and clothing, and everything is very reasonably priced.
I went here frwquently in college to sell back and look for used textbooks. It's the smallest of the bookstores, and they didn't offer the best buyback prices, nor the worst. This is not your "typical" bookstore as they pretty much sell only college textbooks and OSU stuff. A campus area "hangout" so to speak.
Tucked away inside a strip mall-type location, this little bookstore has a lot to offer. I was surprised by the selection, and the prices are very reasonable. Employyes are happy to help you find what you are looking for. They specialize in used books. A great little shop to find a good book in!
My wife and I REALLY enjoy spending an evening at the book loft, and next door cup o joe coffee shop. They boast some enormous number of rooms, and you can navigate by using the maps hanging in every room. Each room has a different theme or type of book that they carry. You could spend hours here and still only see a tiny bit.
This bookstore is really nice. They have a HUGe selection of everything from cooking (my favorite) to fiction, to non-fiction. I have shopped here not only for myself, but also for family and friends. The workers have always been nice and happy to help me find a book I might not have found on my own. I really like this place.
I love the idea of half price books, and frequently find things I love there. However, they don't give you ANYTHING on sell backs. Pennies on the dollar. It's really not worth hauling the books in, as they reject A LOT. I really like shopping here, however, and I have found a lot of great deals and interesting books.
This is my neighborhood school my future children will attend. I have been there to vote and have been impressed by lovely artwork on the walls, the facilities, and the few teachers I met were very nice. This school has a reputation as being one of the best elementaries in the district, and has an outdoor learning experience with the woods and acreage connected to it.
We have a franklin branch at the end of my street and it is a nice, well kept, large, excellent building. I have had experience going there as it is my voting location. Inside, the classrooms seem well equipped and they are large and spacious. We were treated warmly from the front desk staff girl even though we weren't students. I am now considering getting a MBA here.
Otterbein college is located just around the corner from us in downtown westerville. The campus is very nice and I have a friend who attended there and liked it a lot. It's a great school to go to if you want to get away, but still stay close to home. Also located very conveniently near the nice "main drag" in westerville.
