Oreganos Pizza Bistro
They have this incredible italian mixed sandwich. It is piled high served with a great italian dressing. I recommend getting it on the side, this sandwich is so good you will take half home. I ordered waffle fries with it, but the sandwich was so good I barely had room. I did however, eat this incredible warm cookie/icecream dessert. Sooooo good!
Athens Gyros & Pasta
If you like greek, you will like this little mom and pop shop. You can see the lamb whirling in the background. They make neat fries (topped with some type of green herbs) to go along with their gyros or sandwiches. They have an excellent vegi gyro that is so big and flavorful.
Steamers Genuine Seafood
I took my mom here for her birthday and not only did it seem uptight, it was pricey for what you got. The food was alright, but not incredible. I had the dungess crab. It was okay at best, I ate very little of it. My mom was okay with her entree, but it just wasn't all everyone boasted about.
El Torito Mexican Grill
I went on a Sunday with my mom for the Chili Rellenos and we got the table side guacamole. It was not only wonderful, but fun to watch. They come over with a huge tray, with all of the fixings and open avacados right there, mash them up, and you have the freshest guacamole ever! I have also heard they have a good buffet on the weekends, but haven't tried it yet.
La Parrilla Suiza
I went to this restaurant with a lunch friend and it smelled of strongly smoked bacon, but not in a good way. I had enchiladas and the red sauce reminded me of Spaghettios I used to eat when I was a kid. The beans were the only thing I liked. The salsa was very acidic too.
Carlos O Brien's Mexican Food
This place is huge so you don't usually have to wait. They have good mexican food at really good prices. My favorite is the cheese enchiladas with sour n guacamole of course. You will almost always need a take out box, it doesn't matter how hungry you are! The service has always been good too.
Char's Has The Blues
This place is great. It has all you need for the blues including dimly lit atmosphere and beads for the ladies at the door. They have some of the best blues acts in town. Only drawback is that the place is small and fills up quick, get there early if you want a table.
Runyon's Appliance
I had my dishwasher repaired by this company. The day after they fixed my dishwasher it broke. I called them back and they came back in a timely manner to fix it again for free. I then had a problem with my home warranty company trying to charge me for 2 service calls. I called Runyon and they got everything settled with my home warranty service. They called me back to let me know and didn't make me wait. Reputable, would recommend them to anyone.
Pei Wei Asian Diner
I have only been to this restaurant a couple of times. They are so good that it is hard to get served quickly at lunch time during the week. I will say that they have this awesome dish called Blazin Noodles made with the most delicious seared tofu I have ever had (and I have had lots of tofu in my day). It was incredible.
Let's Do Lunch
This is a good place for sandwiches. I gave it only satisfactory because a really good sandwich is hard to come by. I also may be a little jaded because I think I have eaten about 100 of their sandwiches. My company uses them dozens of time every year (they do have great oooeeyy gooeey brownies!).
