A Spectacular Hair Salon
The ladies here are very sweet , and give a good cut. They also have good prices considering the area and the skill they have. They're a little pricey with their coloring, but the cut itself is quite reasonable.
Lackland Air Force Base Exchange
After moving from a base with a very small BX, we were so excited to see a real BX again. They have good prices and a great selection. Everything from large appliances, to furniture, to hair care products. Also a great fishing section.
Seaworld San Antonio Marketing
We went right before Halloween and had a wonderful time. They had a great Haunted Forest. We went in late afternoon right as it was getting chilly. I would recommend you go in the fall when the crowd is down and the weather makes all that walking around bearable.
They let the military and thier families in for free this year, and I think that speaks well of them. Highly recommended!
SAN ANTONIO ZOO
They have so many animals to view and it's large enough to hold your interest without being overwhelming. The only small complaint I would have is that the birds have taken over and it can be a little "nasty" at times. Otherwise, we love to go and spend an afternoon.

One of the hardest things to find when you move to a new town is a dentist. The people at the office were nice, but they only do the white fillings, which, of course, are more expensive. They're professional, but a little over-priced, in my opinion.
Rios Golden Cut
My husband went here to get his hair cut, and took both our boys, too. The cuts were not done evenly. The price was good, but we wouldn't go back again.
H & H Music
The staff was helpful. My son needed an old guitar tuned so he could learn to play, and the employee did a great job. They also have a great selection of instruments.
Premier Realty
The agent was incredibly patient and helpful. She went far above and beyond the call to find us a house. She gave us recommendations that were beneficial and within a couple of weeks, helped us find a great home.
Joe's Crab Shack
Not only was the food over-priced, the smell in that restaurant nearly made me want to bolt out the door! I held out hope that the food might be good, but was very disappointed. We'll never go back again!
Gringo's Mexican Kitchen
The food is incredibly good and reasonably priced. They bring nachos with a green sauce that is to die for. The service has always been excellent, and the place is very clean, which is very important to me.
