This store is not just for runners. They carry shoes to fit every kind of foot and for every purpose. The sales staff is great and always helpful. They know their shoes and how to properly measure feet. My husband just starting running and they were so nice to help fit good fitting shoe.
Breed Hrdwre-Housewares-Garden
Breed & Co. is a great place to shop for house wares. In the store you will find many brands of kitchen gadgets, pots and pans, and gift registries for the married to be. There also carry a beautiful line of ceramic serving pieces. Some items do seem a little overpriced compared to national chain stores but its realty nice to support a local business.
Sandys Shoes
They carry only the best quality childrens shoes. I really like to shop here with my daughter because all the shoes sold here are age appropriate. I dont have to worry about heels being too high or if she can even wear them to school. The employees are very knowledgeable and take time to properly measure each childs foot to find the proper fitting shoe.
Shoe Boxes Boutique
Shoeboxes is a young spin off of The Fitting Stool. They carry lots of shoes and the ultra trendy boho clothes that every one is wearing right now. The prices are great, especially if you dont want to pay a lot for the item of the moment. Be sure to check out the back of the store for really good deals on the previous seasons items.
Terra Toys
This place is awesome. They have huge selection of educational and hard to find toys. They also carry a clothing line, a little on the pricey side but would make great shower and birthday gifts. Every time we visit this store I have to give my daughter a budget and time limit to work with otherwise wed be there all day and finally leave with the entire store. They carry the groovy girls and Italian charm bracelets that are really in right now with young girls.
SAN ANTONIO ZOO
The San Antonio Zoo is a place the whole family will enjoy. We make it at least one a year and there is always something new to see. The entire park is heavily shaded and there are plenty of seating areas to stop and rest. This is especially nice for the grandparents. Be sure to ask if there are any new babies to see in the nursery, the new babies are always amazing to look at.
Austin’s
This is a huge place kids and adults will enjoy. They offer all you can eat pizza, putt putt golf, bumper boats, batting cages and a lot more. Be prepared to spend the entire day there. They have special pricing on packages if you want to participate in all the activities or you can buy them separately.
Oberg Properties
We recently used this company to rent a private property for the weekend on Lake Travis. Every one in the office was very helpful and answered all our questions. They rental rates were great compared to others offering the same services and our security deposit was returned very quickly. The property was clean well maintained when we arrived.
Star Hill Ranch
This is a great place for wedding There are about five restored buildings along a gravel road that give it a real old town kind of feel. Outside the main reception room is a deck with a beautiful view of the Texas hill country. They have beautiful chapel also on the grounds. It is very small for a ceremony but great for pictures.
Bridesmaid Store
This store has one of the best selections of dresses I have ever seen under one roof. I have been in two out of town weddings and was able to order my dresses locally from this store and pay less. The staff could use a brushing up on customer service skills; they always seem preoccupied even when the store is completely empty. But if you know exactly what you want this place is for you.
