These guys have an exclusive collection. Its pricey, but really trendy. We were in SoCal for our cousins wedding and saw stuff at their design studio and were blown away. Designs in trend as in india, done well on time and commitment to quality. The work done on the clothes was so amazin that everyone asked me where I bought them. Worth a trip to SoCal for the quality you get. Their website www.imehr.com has great ideas too.
Manisha Saree Palace
This place has a decent collection of sarees. Not the best place to shop for sarees. If you are shopping for sarees for a special occasion like wedding/engagement, you might want to stay away from here and look at other places. Prices are lil on the high side, since you can buy these at really low prices in India and sell them expensive here. No worth haggling too.
Bharat Bazaar
When this store opened, I felt I could go away from my current grocery store caz of the crazy 45 min checkout lines on the weekend to this store. This is a really spacious clean store, but the quality of the veggies is not that good. I once found really bad strawberries on sale. If you disregard the groceries, you can find everything else very nicely. Really organized, and quick checkout lines. Skip the groceries though
House Of Humor-Sunnyvale
My friend threw a costume party and I didnt have one till the end. I found this store when I went to lunch in the mall its located and went back. Its really well stocked and had costumes and accessories for all kinds. They also have some fun stuff to play pranks on friends with. I ended up going back to this place for Halloween and comparing prices with the other stores, this one was quite cheap.
Scrapbook U
This store is in a small strip mall right of the freeway next to a gas station. Its a one stop shop for all your scrapbooking needs. They are always wellstocked in the latest kinds of papers and have supplies from all the major scrapbooking companies. They have an email list which you can subscribe to and get coupons in mail. They also have a ton of classes.
Only The Best
Really wide variety of stamps and really well stocked. They have a lot of scarpbooking supplies, they also offer quite a variety of classes to use the material they sell. especially - the deco clay. I recommend this class highly..the flowers you learn to make in this class are amazing, and will suprise ppl. Look so real, and are so light and easy to make! Call them for their class schedules.
Raaga Music Store
This place as the name suggests - is for Indian music. Not your regular CD store, as they hardly have non-Indian music, but for that go to Borders. They have a wide selection of Indian music - latest Bollywood music, remix numbers, as well as oldies and classic. especially the classic collection sets I found here , I havent been able to find in India even. Lots of multi-lingual CDs as well as devotional cds are available here
Khoobsurat Threading Salon
After they moved to a new palce next to India Cash & Carry. They are good, but their prices are flexible. They seem to be way too overpriced for facials. Good for threading & eyebrow, a good place to stock up on Shehnaz Hussain products as they carry a lot of these products. Why pay shipping on these products online when there is a local store carrying them!

This is one of the best places for eyebrow threading. Preferable to make appointments in advance. They really dont welcome walkins, but it is worth taking the effort to make an appointment and going in. Its a good place for facials and haircuts. They have seperate private rooms for facials, which makes it easy to relax and have a good facial
Tan's Touchless Car Wash
This place is amazing. Lots of customers at all times will tell u this place is popular. They have lots of deals going on - you will always find coupons in the back of the receipts of ur Safeway shopping. The ppl are really professional and do a really good job of cleaning you car inside and out. We can back from a snow trip to the mountains and got the car washed from them next day - as good as new! Always go back..
