This museum is pretty big and has a lot of art to look at. It has all sorts of art--paintings, sculptures, etc. On the side of the art piece, there is a brief description of the work and some history on it, which I found quite useful and interesting. It is far for me, personally, since I live about 45 minutes away from fort worth, otherwise I would visit there more often.

PROS: descriptions of art
CONS: far

This is a great place to shop for indian outfits. They have all sizes from petite to plus sizes and a wide variety of styles and colors. They also sell some jewelry and shoes, but there aren't many of those to choose from. It is family owned and the owners try their best to help a customer find what they need. The one negative thing is that the place is kind of small.

PROS: helpful staff, wide variety
CONS: small store

The Museum of Miniature Arts

This place was a bit hard to find, but once I figured it out, I enjoyed it. They have pieces from all different centuries. They have a specific section dedicated to miniature figures which was quite interesting. One thing I didn't like was it's a bit small for a museum and so everything seemed cramped up.

PROS: interesting art
CONS: location and small

Nasher Sculpture Ctr

I love going to this museum because the sculptures are amazing. They have all different works of art...some in color and others in black and white. They have a lot of abstract art and also just regular sculptures. They also have a bottom floor and their "backyard" is full of huge works of art. Great place to spend a day and enjoy art.

This is a great place to go with friends, by yourself, or with family. Whenever I went, there were a lot of parents with their children and everyone seemed to be enjoying it. The rates are very good and the museum is huge. There is a lot to see that you can spend a few hours there and not get bored of anything.

PROS: cheap, tons of exhibits

This place looks small from the outside, but it's pretty big once you go in. They specialize in 22 and 24K gold. They have very helpful staff that works there and can advise you on many things. I once went there to appraise some jewelry and they were very helpful, even though I didn't buy anything.

Govindji's Jewelers Lp

I have been going to this jeweler for the past 10 years. It was formerly known as Star Jewelers and changed its name to Govindjis a few years ago. It is a very upscale and elegant place. They offer watches, bracelets, rings, necklaces--any kind of jewelry you can think of. Also, they have brand names such as Omega, Rado, and Rolex.

India Grocers

This place is a bit messy and ukept in my opinion. They do have a lot of groceries and offer video rentals as well, but it's very hard to find what you are looking for. The staff isn't very friendly and it's hard for someone who doesn't know the language to shop there.

PROS: a lot of groceries and videos

This place is huge! They mainly sell purses and handbags, but they also have perfumes, watches, and other accessories. They offer a wide variety of handbags, from Hellp Kitty to elegant purses for a night out in the town. There are plenty of employees who are very helpful and friendly. The prices are great!

Dallas, TX Dry Cleaners & Laundries 11/19/05: 'Great dry cleaners'

This cleaners is exellent. Their service is great and the emplyees are very friendly. The location is perfect because it's on the corner of the shopping plaza. The quality of dry cleaning is great and clothes are ready within one day. The owner knows the regular customers by name. Great place to get your clothes cleaned.
