Definitely a unique shop. This shop is right off of the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. They sell artwork, Knick-knack type things, and t-shirts. The t-shirts are not the usual beachy type t-shirt. They have very intricate pictures of fairies and skulls, and that sort of thing. If you have a teenager or young adult to buy for, this shop will definitely appeal.
This is a touristy little store by the beach that sells all kinds of lotions and other skin care products. The shop is very cozy and comfortable, and smells wonderful! They can custom make a concoction for you, or you can choose from any of their hundreds of scents. It's definitely not for the budget minded!
This art gallery is located in the vacation town of Rehoboth Beach Delaware. They offer art classes for all age groups, and interesting lectures to attend. Their programs are either low cost or donation only. They have wonderful exhibits throughout the year. Of course there is always something for sale! It's a great stop for tourists during a vacation.
I first used this plumber a couple of years ago. I was very impressed by his honesty and promptness. I continue to use this company when I need a plumber. The individual who started the company still owns it, and now employs other plumbers. They advertise that if the plumber is one minute late, you get a Ben Franklin ($100.00 bill). This is so refreshing nowadays, when most service people keep us waiting for hours.
Ramsey's is well know for their Halloween pumpkin picking and maze. They have activities for the kids, from pumpkin picking and painting, hayrides and mazes. They offer group tours and educational programs for visiting schools and day cares. They are only open for about a month in the fall. It's definitely an annual activity for many people!
Al's is a local sporting goods store, in Wilmington for many years. Since they are local, they carry all the items needed by the area schools and community athletic organizations. They have very good deals on sneakers as well. Unfortunately, their hours aren't ver convenient. They close by 6 PM most nights.
Eyeworks offers the usual selection of eye glasses. The prices range from under $100.00 to designer pairs that are several hundred dollars. I use this optical store because of the service. I've been able to take my glasses back to this store for free repair when they have broken, even after having them for 2 years. I've never bought a warranty. They even fixed my glasses after my dog chewed them!
Willey's stocks a large selection of fresh produce at very low prices. They have fresh baked goods, dairy items and apple cider. They sell all kinds of plants and seasonal decorations, as well as books, flower seeds, and gift items. The store is set up like an old-fashioned market. It's very nice.
Jungle John is a wonderful addition to a child's birthday party, or even an event for adults. He brings his collection of reptiles and bugs. He gives an extremely entertaining presentation that incluces volunteers from the audience. We hired him for my son's 9th birthday. We filmed it, and will have this wonderful experience to look back on for years!
Richardsons is a very nice garden center. They have a large variety and supply of all seasonal plantings. They sell seasonal items too, such as halloween decorations and pumpkins, and Christmans trees and wreaths. Their spring annual flowers are always very healthy and do very well in my garden.
