Due to a change in eye care insurance I have just started going to Eye on J Optometry this year. I was very pleased though with the kind of service I received from them. Dr. Vallin is very pleasant to deal with and is meticulous with her exams. The office staff is also very friendly and helpful with choosing frames that my insurance covers.
Flek Tanya - Smile Doctor
I like going to the Smile Doctor for my exams and cleaning. The dentists there are all very knowledgeable and very meticulous with their work. They treat you with so much warmth, like you are one of the family. The office staff is also very friendly. They are great at explaining the in and outs of my insurance coverage.
Leatherby's Family Creamery
Leatherbys Family Creamery is my other favorite ice cream parlor. I go here for there great sundaes and banana splits. I love their chocolate fudge topping. It is just to die for. Try Valeries Black and White. It has marshmallows, whipped cream, chocolate fudge, nuts and a cherry all on top of chocolate and vanilla ice cream.
Gunther's Quality Ice Cream
I used to live just a few blocks away from Gunthers Ice Cream when I was a kid and I remember my dad and I taking a walk there for their delicious ice cream. They make homemade ice cream here that is yummy. They have a lot of flavors to choose from and the staff is very friendly. Their chocolate mint flavor is my fav.
Pocket Animal Medical Ctr
Pocket Animal Medical Center is a pretty good clinic. My dog likes the vets there who are very nice and treat my dog with that loving touch. They dont have 24 hour emergency services though and the office staff is not very knowledgeable. Their prices are the cheapest that I have come across though.
Poodle Nook
Poodle Nook is where I always take my dog to be groomed. I always make an appointment because I dont like waiting and they do get really busy. The staff here is great and do such a great job. They are very gentle with the animals and my dog is never scared to be handled by the staff here.
Elite Dogs Training & Boarding
I had to shop around before I finally chose to leave my dog at Elite. They are really great at taking care of your dog. They have very clean kennels and they play with your dog several times a day while in their care. They also have a little swimming pool where your dog can play in while there. My dog was very happy and their fees are pretty reasonable.
Professional Window Tinting
My car had a pretty bad tinting job on the back windows from when my boyfriend tried to do it himself for me. I went to Professional Window Tinting and they were able to give me a free estimate on how much it would cost to have them remove the old tinting and apply a new one. They did a great job and am very happy with the tint job on my car plus my boyfriend paid for it as a birthday gift to me.
Harvs Car Wash Smog & Detail Center
Ive taken my car to Harvs Car Wash a few times before. The staff is very friendly and do a quality job. They have several packages to choose from and they also offer their services ala carte where you can just opt for just an exterior wash without all the works. Their prices are pretty reasonable.
Capital Athletic Club
I love going to the Capital Athletic Club. Jodie who is one of the instructors in the cardio salsa class I go to is just terrific. She is so energetic and makes the class a lot of fun to be part of. I also go to their step aerobics class and that is also a lot of fun.
