The Villa Inn is a great romantic getaway. I had the pleasure of staying in Stanza Four. The room was absolutely gorgeous and the staff at the Inn could not be more helpful and accomodating. There is a complimentary Butler's pantry with drinks and snacks. They also provide a complimentary breakfast in the morning and will cook whatever your heart desires. I have never experienced such personal service before. I also had a manicure and pedicure there. The spa was very clean and my treatments were top notch. The prices are right on target considering the level of service you receive. I felt like a queen! Highly recommend!
Party time has a good selection of items for rent. Their prices are also reasonable. I found that you can knock some off the price if you are available to pick up or drop off the equipment you need. Their weekend/wedding rental price is also very good because you can pick up the equipment Friday and they will pick it up Monday and you are only charged for one night. Their rental items are of high quality. I also found it convenient to be able to pick out the items I needed online and call them to place my order. They have pictures of all the items available to rent in their online catalog.
We used Nathaniel Edmunds for both our engagement and wedding pictures. We were extemely pleased with the outcome! We were treated like family, and they were very flexible with our needs. The pictures and album were very beautiful. They specialize in a more relaxed and creative approach and have a photojournalistic feel to the pictures they take. They really pay attention to details and capture all the moments that you'll hope you never forget. We felt we received an excellent value for the money. Their prices are not cheap, but not sky high either. You get what you pay for when it comes to creativity and quality in wedding pictures.
I have frequented Sundaes for many years. They have several wonderful flavors of homemade ice cream that you simply can't find anywhere else! My favorite is the Amaretto. The staff there is always smiling and very friendly. Aside from ice cream they also offer some low-fat varieties as well as coffee drinks and special ice cream treats. The prices a little higher than some, but the ice cream is home made!
I bought a tanning package at White Sands because I worked next door and they were conveniently located. Their prices are about average. Of course, you save when you buy a package with more tans. There were a couple times when I arrived to White Sands when they were supposed to open (10am) only to wait for about 10-15 minutes and no employee had arrived to open the store. I thought it could be an accident but it happened 3 or 4 times. When employees were present, they were often rude or on the phone. I called the owner to let her know, but she didn't seem to be too concerned. The owner also closed the location I went to most often and didn't give much notification. I think I still have tans left there but I don't know if they were transferred to her other location or not. I think they also offer "spray tanning."
I was in the care of Dr. Montgomery for several weeks. She was very helpful for my first few visits and recommened several books to help me deal with what was going on in my life. I felt comfortable around her and as though I could trust her. Her office was small, but comfortable and not too overbearing. I stopped visiting her once she suggested I start doing these strange chants and meditations. I only wish she would have been upfront with some of her beliefs ahead of time. But I benefited from the beggining of my treatment with her.
I went to the Bushwacker for a haircut and manicure. They also offer eyebrow waxing and pedicures as well. I was very pleased with both my haircut and pedicure. The salon is a little outdated, but I heard they recently remodeled a little bit. It is very clean and they also seem to be in tune with current styles and colors. They have a decent selection of salon-quality hair products as well. In my experience the stylists listen carefully to your concerns and do their absolute best to make you look your best! The prices are about average for the NE side of Indianapolis.
I lived in a one-bedroom in Hickory Place in 2004. I found the neighborhood to be so-so; I didn't always feel safe around the other tenants. The rent was on the low side for this part of Indianapolis, so I think some of lower-income tenants made Hickory Place home. Benefits are easy access to I-69 and shopping in Castleton. The apartments also include a full-size washer and dryer. For a short-term living it was OK, but I wouldn't want to live there for a long time. They also offer two-bedrooms and townhouses.
I have gone to the Mike's on I-69 and 96th street for years! The guys that work there are always very friendly. One time I went through and it didn't get all the bugs off (we just got back from a road trip!) and they gave me a free wash right away. They really do a great job to make sure your car is clean every time. Even if there is a long line they get you through the wash pretty quickly. The prices are a little high (more than you would pay at the gas station) but I think the quality is worth it! There is also the option of washing it yourself in their DIY-area.
I really enjoy working out at Cardinal Fitness. I rarely have to wait for equipment (weights or cardio) even during peak workout times. They have a good selection of equipment (free weights, a couple different kinds of machines, treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, stairsteppers). They also have personal training available if that is something you are interested in. Their prices are really great, especially if you grab one of their coupons in ValPak. Their hours are convenient as well.
