We have ordered food from Thai Basil several times and have always had a great meal. The food seems much fresher than any other Asian restaurant around. The chicken lettuce wraps are my favorite.
The Santa Fe Station Hotel is a few miles from the strip but is well worth checking into. The 400 rooms have all been remodeled as well as the casino. Starbucks is just a few feet from the elevator which is a bonus for any person who had a late night gambling.
Grand China has been a favorite of ours for many years for good and inexpensive Chinese food. Their menu selection is huge and the prices fit the portions you get.
Its hard to find a good Southern style restaurant in the west especially in Las Vegas. Memphis BBQ does a great job in bringing the south to Las Vegas. The creamed corn is very recommended.
Everytime we pass through Boulder we must make a stop at Pit Stop Burgers. The food is great and the service is fast and friendly. They have the best sauce around for the burgers.
I was really hoping that this would be a hidden gem for Las Vegas. It has been around for 20 years and I'm not sure why. The food was overpriced and not even worth the time it took to find the place. I say pass on this one.
Snoopy's is a must for any visitor and local to Corpus Christi. The food is good but really people go there for the atmosphere. Its a laid back take your shoes off kind of place.
Catfish Charlies has always been a favorite of mine. The chicken fried steak is the best I've had. The hush puppies are also excellent! The service is quick and very friendly.
If you want a true classic Las Vegas restaurant, then you must go to Hugo's Cellar at the Four Queens downtown. The atmosphere feels very old school. The service is excellent. The food is always delicious.
I have been going to Tenya Creek since it first opened and have never had a bad experience there. The food is always delicious and the service is great. The Hummus is best I've tasted. It's a must!
