Mike's Merchandise
Mikes Merchandise is a new store in the Auburn area. It is located on Opelika Road. The parking area is large and convenient. The building is huge. I found it overwhelming. They had jeans, shirts, housewares, books and other items. Each area is basically separated, but you still have to dig through it all. The prices are fairly reasonable. If you are looking for something different check out Mikes Merchandise. They have a little of everything.
Flower Store
The Flower Store is located in a new shopping mall on Moore's Mill Road. It is a fabulous store. They have a helpful and knowledgeable staff. Everyone has always been friendly. They have a fairly large parking area, but it is shared with other businesses. You will find beautiful flower arrangements as well as gift ideas here. The prices vary on every item. I think you will find something in your price range. Check out The Flower Shop. You will not be disappointed.
Heartstrings
Heartstrings is located downtown on North College Street. It is near Auburn University. Great store for visitors to Auburn. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I was able to find cute items for my daughter at Christmas. They sell wide variety of items from jewelry to house decor. The prices are a little expensive to me. Parking was not convenient. I had to drive around several times before finding a place to park. I would recommend a visit to Heartstrings.
Medical Arts Eye Clinic
The Medical Arts Eye Clinic is a fairly new building located on Lakeside Circle. This is the office area near the University Mall. I was able to make an appointment here with no problems. They have a convenient parking area. The staff was friendly and efficient. The doctor did a complete check up. He was very informative. I would definitely recommend the Medical Arts Eye Clinic.
University Barber Shop
University Barber Shop is located on N. College street and Magnolia. It is located near the Auburn University campus. You can walk to this shop from campus. The staff here is friendly and efficient. You usually do not have to wait for a haircut. The parking can be a pain because is it surrounded by other shops. It requires paying a quarter at a parking meter. I would recommend this barber shop for a great haircut.
Joan Penrod Real Estate
Joan Penrod Real Estate is located at the corner of Donahue and College street. It is conveniently located near Auburn University. The staff was friendly and attentive. The parking was sufficient, but shared with other stores. However, we did not get the best associate for showing houses. The lady was leaving in the middle of the week. For this reason, she felt the need to push houses on us to get a sale. The houses were not good quality. I left feeling let down by the experience.
Cannon Pest Control
Cannon Pest Control is located on Opelika Road near the post office. They are a locally owned business. We called about an estimate and I found their service to be very pushy and not informative. They will however come out to your house immediately and take care of your pests. If you are looking for fast service check into Cannon's.
Hair Associates
Hair Associates is located on Dean Road across from Krogers. It is a convenient location for students at Auburn University. The studio is a nice clean and open area. The ladies are very friendly and willing to help. You will find parking to be small, but never to busy. Make sure to check out Hair Associates.
Creekwood Church Of Christ
Creekwood Church of Christ is located on Schillinger Road. A family oriented church. A fairly new building that can hold 500 people. You will find a friendly group of people. It was a little clickish sometimes, but we enjoyed our time there. They have classes for every age group. Sunday night they have a fun class for children called Christian Soldiers. Great learning experience. The parking area is awesome. You will not have difficulty finding a place to park. If you are ever in Mobile check them out.
Drug Store
The Drugstore is located on Dean Road right after crossing the railroad tracks. It looks like a brand new building. It is a clean and organized store. The pharmacist and staff are friendly and knowledgeable about all products. The parking area is very convenient. They even have a drive up area. If you are new in town check out The Drug Store. They are very helpful.
