This dry cleaner damaged an expensive work shirt. They fully admitted they did the damage, and said if I brough in the receipt for the shirt, they would reimburse me the cost. I brought the receipt and filled out the necessary paperwork. It then took over 3 weeks for the manager to call me back to follow up. Then, rather than give me the cost of the shirt as promised, they gave me the cost of the shirt in coupons for dry cleaning. I said I would not be taking anything back to them to clean, and that I wanted the shirt replaced, not $80 worth of coupons that I would not use. They refused to reimburse me and stopped returning my calls to try to resolve this matter.
Western Communities Family Practice is ok if you rarely have to see a doctor. They are a large practice, so even if you can't get in with your regular doctor, there is always another doc who can see you, as well as a couple of Nurse Practitioners you can see. The NPs are wonderful, and I have come to rely on them more than the docs.
There is no focus here on the patients, execept when it comes to billing. It is nearly impossible to get ahold of a doctor or doc's assistant via phone, and messages are not returned (unless you leave numerous messages, becoming angrier each time. In this case, you're guaranteed a call back). Even something as simple as getting a refill for a medication took well over a month, and countless phone calls that went unanswered.
The office also made mistakes with my pre-operative papers, almost causing me to have to reschedule surgery. The papers only had to travel two floors up within the same building, but this office was unable to manage to get them there. When I went to the office to get things cleared up, the staff was very rude to me. Overall, I've been increasingly unhappy with this practice.
One Price Dry Cleaning provides top of the line service at very reasonable prices. Dry cleaning can get expensive, and there have been many times at other cleaners that my clothing has been ruined. Not at this place! They take good care of your clothing, and not once has anything been lost or damaged (in over a year of going here twice monthly). I have always been impressed with the quality of service, not only on the clothes, but also in the way customers are treated.
This place is wonderful to use if you are in a rush and willing to pay a bit more for the service. They give honest assessments of what the problem is and do their best to provide a realistic time frame of when the repairs will be done. They did a great job of fixing my laptop, and put a rush on it when I told them I could not work until my computer was finished. I was very satisfied and would use them again if necessary.
Considering this is a USED clothing store, I was shocked at how expensive the items were. If I wanted to pay that much, I'd head to the mall and pay full price. They do have a wide selection, but it is unaffordable for most people, keeping in mind that the main reason people go to consignment shops is that they cannot afford retail prices. The pricing on the items here is very unrealistic.
The staff are rude and snobby, and treat most customers as though they are beneath them. They stand around chatting to each other, and ignore customers until forced to take care of someone. Overall, there is a very unpleasant, unwelcoming atmosphere in this store.
The clothing here is of such a high quality, you would never know it was used. The selection is wide, and it is easy to find what you are looking for. I have a young child who is between sizes, making it hard to shop for clothes. I always have a hard time finding affordable clothes for him that fit. At this store, I never have a hard time finding something appropriate for my child to wear. And the prices are very affordable.
I have lower back pain from an injury I sustained in a car accident. From time to time, the pain becomes unmanageable and I can barely walk. I used to be very leery of chiropractors, but after being treated here, I am no longer afraid. I was treated with courtesy and respect, and the doctor took the time to see what the exact problem was before jumping to any treatment. The chiropractic work alone was not enough, so the doctor integrated physical therapy into my treatment plan. The PT taught me exercises that I could do at home which would increase the results (as opposed to just one or two PT sessions a week). The pain is much more tolerable and with luck, and a bit more treatment, I will hopefully be pain free. I was also taught ways to move and modify daily life that will prevent further injury.
The staff at ACE is very loving and truly cares about the children. They understand that kids come first, and you feel as though you are part of a family at this school. Their academic/educational goals are wonderful, and the kids have such fun learning that they barely feel like they are in school all day. ACE provides a great environment for children to learn and grow in a very safe setting.
The one downside of smaller bookstores is they do not always have current selections available. However, Annie's Book Stop is an exception to this rule. This store has every type of book imaginable, including the latest bestsellers. They trade or sell, making it more affordable for booklovers to satisfy their reading habits. I went in hoping to get my book club's latest selection, and came out with a few additional books. The staff was helpful and pointed me in the right direction when I told them what I was looking for. When I got "lost" browsing, someone came and checked to make sure I found what I was looking for and to see if I needed any more help. I really like this bookstore.
This is a good little bookstore to go to if you happen to be in the area. There is not a wide selection, so you need to be flexible on what you're looking to buy. The atmosphere is very charming, and it's easy to get lost inside the quite little environment this store provides. I took my son in when were were in the area and he came out with a whole bag of wonderful new books to read.
