The Kihei Clinic and Wailea Medical Services has a lot of services in one place. This is where I stop to get blood tests if I need it and I am in the area. Not only do they have a clinical lab but they also have physicians, a pharmacy and physical therapy offices here. If I am in the Kihei area, this is where I fill my prescriptions. There is a lot of parking here.
Snorkel Bob's is easy to spot on Kihei road. The weekly prices can't be beat for snorkel gear or boogie board rentals. They also have day rental available too. You also get snorkel tips, a fish ID card, and the semi-soggy underwater humor of Snorkel Bob.
Tommy Bahama has the nicest aloha shirts around! In my opinion, they sell the nicest quality made aloha shirts with some of the best tropical prints in Hawaii. Their shirts are beautiful and long lasting. Some of my friends and family only buy Tommy Bahama aloha shirts because they wear them to work. These shirts look professional and are high quality items. They are pricey but everyone knows that Tommy Bahama shirts are one-of-a-kind!
The Shops at Wailea has mostly boutique types of stores that cater to tourists. The Shops at Wailea are very nice and most of them are specialty shops that are pricey. My favorite clothing stores to buy quality aloha shirts or women's clothing is Tommy Bahama or Tori Richards. I bought an aloha shirt for my cousin at Tommy Bahama which was quite expensive but well worth it.
Pauwela Cannery is a huge tin can of a building that has been divided into many studios adn workshops housing fine artists, woodworkers, cabinetmakers, potters and sailboard makers. There is also some small shops like Da Kine Hawaii. I like coming here to look at the various artists' paintings and woodwork.
I bought t-shirts here for my relatives on the mainland because of their nice designs and quality material. They sell a lot of logo items, and t-shirts that are tie-dyed with Hawaiian surf scenes which I really like. The t-shirts are made of quality cotton, so they don't look cheap and they won't wear out really fast. It's really eas y to pick out the designs that you want because they display the t-shirts on the walls and in the showroom. The salespeople are really nice and will help you find that t-shirt that you are looking for.
This store is located at the Kihei Commercial Center. They have a fantastic selection of wine and beer and a great little goumet food section. When I come here to buy wine I always pick up something elso to go with my wine such as pasta and some sun-dried tomatoes. They also sell other gourmet food that would make a wonderful gift in a picnic basket. Lots of parking and friendly service.
I played here when my family stayed at the hotel. The Village Center has 10 courts, five lighted for evening play, and they have a tennis pro shop that sells raquets, tennis balls, and clothes. They will also tighten the strings on your raquet. The courts are surrounded by lush and manicured lawns and greenery. This is a first-class tennis facility with lots of parking.
This small store is well-stocked with last-minute goodies such as souvenirs, snacks and beverages. You can also get beach items like sun tan lotion and beach mats as well as deli sandwiches for a quick bite. Their prices are reasonable for these last-minute items and the service is good. The cashiers here will help you with questions and they are very friendly.
Maui Dive Shop is a full-servic water activities store for locals and tourists. Many locals come here to rent scuba diving gear when they take their boats out to go diving off of Maui or Molokini. A lot of tourists come here to rent snorkeling equipment and beach gear. It's pricey here and you can rent snorkel sets at Snorkel Bob's for a lower rate.
