At least for my kids (ages 5 and 6), this place has been very positive. We liked the parent/tot classes. The kids like the classes they are in now, and we also liked the "mom's day out" programs. I don't know how they are with older kids or with kids who are serious about gymnastics. Somewhat expensive, but competitive with the other gymnastic places in town. My kids like the staff.
PROS: staff, classes
The kids and I like the exhibits and the birdwatching opportunities are great. The osprey cam is neat. There are indian mounds, neat trails and lots of wildlife. We have seen pheasants and turkeys lately. They have a restored prarie and have a prarie burn every year.
I especially like the summer courses for children. I think they are doing a good job preserving the clty's history. Mark from the history center is doing an excellent job preserving through photography places that end up being torn down.
I personally think this theatre is the best bet because:
1) Prices are simply the best in town
2) service is friendly
3) Locally owned
4) real butter on the popcorn
5) prices for snacks are actually in the affordable range, which just blows my mind given how every other theatre in town totally rips you off.
6) who needs stadium seating, I mean really
7) no irritating arcade
PROS: everything, especially the real butter on the popcorn
I have only had two mortgages in my life, and the last mortgage is through Countywide. I guess I was treated fairly. My interest rate is ok, and the loan officer was nice and helpful. I will probably shop around next time I need a loan just to make sure I get the best rate, but I have no complaints.
I have been with this credit union for five years and I am very satisfied. Their interest rates are competitive and there service is good. They don't have their own ATM's, but you can use ATM's of almost any other credit union in the state for no charge. Good free checking. Good loan rates. They have only one location, but the location works well for me. It might not work for you, but oh well.
PROS: rates, service
I have been to the emergency room here three times, and have had professional service each time. Of course it takes forever, but that is part of an emergency my room. My problems were not as great as those of many others who came in after me. Hope you have insurance!
PROS: service, efficiency, friendly
I had my kidney stones blasted by a urologist with this practice. The service was excellent. They are a very busy clinic, and you some times have to wait. The x-ray techs are very nice and efficient. I would reccomend the place as long as you have insurance.
A really good cause. They are somewhat more selective in what they put out compared to the Salvation Army. There prices are also higher than the Salvation Army. I have found good furniture and good clothes, and also good compact discs.
PROS: selection, good cause
You never know what you will find here, you have to check almost daily due to the volume of crap coming in. Search a while, though, because there are lots of treasures. I got a good, working humidifier in the box with instructions for a buck. Lots of good books. Lots of low prices. I also found a couple of good, retro, avocado green kitchen wall clocks from the 70's for a buck a piece.
PROS: prices, good cause, selection
CONS: got to dig
