Rincon Antiqueno Restaurant
I tried this restaurant with my ex-colobian girlfriend, and Ifound it authentic and nice tasting. The choices of soups(galician, spanish and other types of hearty soups ) makes a place worth visiting.Antioquia is a town in Colombia, famous for hearty meals. The decoration(like the wheel ect) tries to reflect images of Colombia.Nice not highly pretentius place.
PROS: Nice authentic food,experienced biz
CONS: sort of tight parking, but separate
Parrot Jungle Island
Great for people that love animals, mainly birds. The price has increased somehow but still a series of fun shows to watch.I still have the recordings of some of the shows that I went since I was child. The feats are famous and well worth the price.
PROS: Clever stunts by birds
CONS: far away location
Usa Pawn & Jewelry
I have bought products but have not pawned in this place. The place looks clean and organized. The staff is pretty knowledgeable and speaks English.I bought a digital camera and was able to bargain a good price for the item. Can only recommend it for buying items.
PROS: Clean place
CONS: do not have idea of origin of products
Honeygrill
Liked this buffet but it is little expensive compared to the NEW chinese buffets by the University, also the food does not taste as fresh. The service is great ,and has a pretty CANTONESE atmosphere. The employees are very polite, and would recommend it from that pespective.
There is no separate parking ,since it is in the middle of a shopping center.
PROS: Nice buffet
CONS: parking could be tight when shopping center is full
Don Pan Intl Bakery
I tried differnt types of breads and pastries at thislocation and they always tasted fresh and delightful. Some of the S-Americans employees where very educated and had a higher spirit/organizational level.Parking was available, nice business that improves this SEdanos shopping center.Recommend this location
PROS: Wide selection of bakery and pastries
CONS: a little old shopping center
Don Pan Intl Bakery
I visited this location to boy pastry for me and a friend ,I was not very happy with the service and /or organization. The 3 leches dessert did not even taste right, the expensive fruit tarts did not taste fresh or good. The individuals taking the orders where not polite or helpful, barely could speak speak Spanish.I have visited other locations that are much better,
PROS: Sort of clean, close to Little Havana
CONS: remodeled shopping center, employees not helpful
Budget Optical
Had my lens made here, they where made real fine.I found that this place keeps nicely organized records and seems knowledgeable in Optometry/Medicine.My lens where fitted properly and was overall happy with the service,Recommend it
PROS: Good organized service
CONS: Tight parking
Miami Bakery
I have visited this location a few times, and did not enjoy the pastry, bread or products for sale. The place did not look either clean/organized or else. The locale had old appliances that seemed a little broken down. The selection of products did not appear to be Spanish or Cuban but Central American or Nicaraguan.Certain people like this type of place. Most everybody does not speak English and Bad Spanish
PROS: Nice location
CONS: Not great pastry/products
Karla Bakery
Good tasting pastry, like heavenly custard(not really authentic tasting),fruit cakes and bread. The sweets tend to be a little expensive but the decoration and organization of the place looks OK.The touch of decoration feels European in a way,but the politeness of the employees leaves something to be desired. Some employees can speak Englishbut most cannot.Recommend it to certain people that enjoy this type of pastry/bakery.
PROS: Nice tasting pastry,bread
CONS: some employees not polite do not speak English
Opa Lock Hialeah Flea Market
I visited this Flea Markey once but did not find what I was looking for. This Flea Market compared to the Greyhound one (which has Central American folk) is even worse in terms of selection and prices. It reminds me of certain REAL LOW CLASS merchandise flea markets elsewhere in the country.I would only recommend it to people to visit once or twice.
PROS: Oraganized compared to other Flea Markets
CONS: sort of expensive,questionable merchandise
