Shoe Palace
I went here a couple of times for shoes with my friends. They have all the nice shoes, price isnt all that great because i think it was a little more expensive than other places. this was where all the popular kids bought their shoes back in grade school, but i got out of it and now know of find my deals.
Quickwash Laundry Inc
I never really used this place, but this was the first laundromat that i saw with wifi interenet provided for their waiting customers. Also from what I saw, it seemed like there was a lot of college students there, so im assuming the machines are very user friend and they are attracted to the internet because I saw a few notebooks on.
Jenny's Gift Shop
If you are not looking for an overly expensive last minute gift place, this is your place. I have been stuck a few times looking for a last minute gift place and the first time i have just stubbled upon this place and been just going back here ever since. Good service, decent price, but wouldnt goin here if i had time to choose a gift.
Global Air Communication
I got my first cell phone contract here two years ago, and it was a great experience. When my contract expires next march, i plan on going back to them for another cell phone deal/contract. I like how they answer all my questions patiently and clearly, and also they give a lot of accessories with my purchase.
Roberts Book Store
Like any usual college book store, the books there are very expensive (well compared to the internet like half.com at least). One plus side with this place is that the lines move fast and the service there is good (when I can't find a book). My older brother usually buys his books here, but i had to buy a book here once for school, and that was my experience.
Badminton Alley
I went to this place once to get my badminton racket restrung. Its cost was a little higher than the other place I went to. One of my friends recommended this place to me, so i gave it a shot. I wasnt overly impressed or overly dissapointed with them. I guess I would recommend to someone if my usual place is of inconvience to them, but this place would be second on my list.
Asby Sports
I've been going here since my sophomore year in high school which is like 4 years ago. I bought my first and second badminton racket here with ease and happiness. I've recommended this place to many of my teammates and they have all be very satisfied also. The good thing about this place is that they also carry soccer, basketball, and football accessories also.
Dai Thanh Supermarket
I dont like this place at all. Whenever my parents drag me here, i end up staying in the car or standing near the door where it is less crowded and fresh air. On the other side though, my parents seem to like this place, going here every other week. They say they have good deals here on poultry and fruits. I would recommend this place to someone if they dont mind the smell, but otherwise, don't bother, because the parking lot is also crowded.
Surplus Computers
Don't let the appears (inside and outside) of this place alter your impression of this little store. If you can't find something at fry's or best buys, you might have a good chance of finding it here. The prices are very reasonable and they carry stuff from computer hardware, monitors, mp3 players, TVs, gadgets, etc. For a little store, they carry more than you would imagine, and i was also surprise to see golf clubs there also!!! Very recommended
