Mesquite Library
This library is located in the parking lot of Paradise valley mall. Because of this it is an easily accessible library, you can do your shopping and homework in one drive. You can save the trip of going to the downtown library if you request to have the materials transferred to this one. But please be aware that the library is very small, you may not have much privacy to do your own work.
Desert Sage Veterinary Clinic
I have two cats and a dog and everytime I come to this clinic when they need help or are sick. The prices are affordable and they offer financing plans if you do not have the money. No sick animal should be left to get worse. The vets earnestly care about your loved pet, and they call you if anything changes. Parking is spacious, but they are located down town. For some this may be an inconvenice since down town is not always the best place to be when the sun goes down.
Ortega Grizelda - Arizona's Kids Dental Care
If you require a dental plan because you don't have dental insurance, I recommend taking your children to this dental office. The staff is very friendly and can answer all your worries. A child's dental health is crucial and all the dentists understand this. They are gentle and very caring in the way they handle your child. They are however often busy so do make an appointment.
Mesa Community College
When I had to decide which community college to attain to, it was between this one and PVCC. I did not choose Mesa Community College because the parking was even more horrid than PVCC. Als the campus seems to have older bulidings and the classes reflect this. The halls are very narrow and cramped so you feel as though you're in prison. Also, there is very little technology in the room, and this negative aspect for students who require technological assistance.
Nail Jewelry
For many us we have had the french manicure, the spa pedicure and a host of the common services. But if you have a special event to tend to, or someone to impress I recommend this nail salon. They offer many jewelry pieces from rhinestones to nail art! The service is efficient, and parking is easily accessible. If you have an idea in mind feel free to ask the help, they know what is best for the look you want to achieve.
Kerr Deborah - Goldberg & Osborne
Goldberg and Osborne are good lawyers. You often see them on television advertising their success on cases. They have many offices throughout the valley so they are easily accessible. My only problem with them, and it's a big one is that they are not timely in responding to your questions. It took me more than a week to reach an actual person!
Willow House
The willow house was once a cottage in Phoenix before the area became industrialized. It has that old house charm, and the walls are adorned with local artwork. There are many shelves of books, so you can sit back with a cheap cup of coffee and take a break from a busy day. The parking lot is small however, and sometimes you will need to park across the street. Adjacent to the willow house is a small theatre where local artists gather to perform short plays.
China Nail Salon
China Nail Salon is a great place to get your nails done. Their prices range from 20 and up depending on the complexity of the service desired. I rarely ever have to wait as they are fully staffed. Some of the ladies are not too efficient at english but they try their best to communicate. Parking is easily accessible as it is located in a plaza. If you're on a time constraint I do recommend calling ahead for an appointment.
Uncle Bob's Self-Storage
If you have a lot of clutter in your house or you just don't have enough room I recommend putting away your precious items in a storage unit. This storage facility is well lit and if monitored so you can rest assured that your items will be safe. They also offer insurance if you want it. The floors are clean and well maintained.
Scottsdale Christian Academy
This is a good private school to send your children. They incorporate Christianity in every aspect during the student's daily activity and this includes religious courses as well as prayer. However many of the students that attend this school are from families whose parents are rarely in the picture. This means many of these children often become bad influences on the other students. I recommend sending them to this school for their younger years and then sending them somewhere else before they hit high school.
