Super cute scrapbooking store! They have a great selection of different papers, stickers, pens, books and more. The customer service is okay. They aren't real pushy, but at times, it seems like they are ignoring you. I usually prefer to be left alone, so its fine with me, but if you need a helpful, attentive salesperson, you may not be satisfied. They also offer scrapbooking parties/classes at the store.
Its so nice when a cute shop moves into La Habra. Super cute and "cozy", The Applerose always has something unique. Not the typical mass produced home decor...lots of vintage items. The owner is super friendly and makes you feel welcome...its always uncomfortable walking into a smaller store like that and having the employee act like you're invisible. You won't have that experience here! Make sure to visit often, her stuff is always changing!
I always get so inspired when I visit this store! They have a lot of "different" plants, not the typical stuff you find at Home Depot. They are so creative there and they come up with the cutest creations. I have had anywhere from excellent customer service to pretty good customer service. And make sure to visit their darling rabbit...its the friendliest rabbit I have ever seen! :)
I love this place. But more importantly, my 2 year old loves this place. Lots of educational stuff to do...his favorites are the real bus, the bone exhibit currently running (this changes a couple times a year), the preschool room~filled with fun stuff to play with and the craft room, where they always have something fun to make and take home. We have the annual pass...if you plan on going often, look into this option, its worth the money. The only downside is it could be cleaned more frequently. With all the little hands there every day, the germs are a-flowing, I am sure.
Well, they have lots of products, but everytime I walk in, its filled with cigarette smoke...yuck. Dont expect any great deals here, but their prices are basically the same as the other beauty supplies around town. However, with the revamping of the other local beauty supply stores and the new chains coming in, they should rethink their methods of business.
Lots of everything here, actually. Its a gigantic thrift store....but clothing is what attracts most people here. I have found some great clothes here...including Citizen of Humanity jeans that retail for almost $200! (I paid $5) Be prepared to spend a couple hours looking through everything though. Mondays are .99 cent tag days (on certain color tags). I actually avoid going on this day because its so busy.
I feel so lucky that my son was able to attend this school from kindergarten through sixth grade. All of his teachers were fantastic, with the exception of his first grade teacher, who is no longer there. The office staff however, leave something to be desired. They are extremely unpleasant and I always hated having to call the school and have any interaction with them.
This is the only car repair shop that I trust. I have taken my car there when it would barely run, thinking I was going to be out a few hundred dollars to get it back running again, only to be told it was just a hose and the charge was only $5! SO many mechanics would take advantage of that situation and jack up the price. I always recommend them to anyone who asks for a honest mechanic!
I love this salon. The receptionists are always super friendly...which isnt always common. They kept offering me coffee and/or water, which was nice. I had a great experience with the hair stylist that did my hair. She was extremely friendly and professional and my hair looked great. They sell a few different lines of products at the front of their store.
I Love Country has been in La Habra for quite a few years, and I can't figure out why. They have some cute merchandise, its worth a glance, but its overpriced. While you can't blame a person for wanting to make money, the women who work there are so completely rude that many of my friends and I have vowed never to return.
