They have very basic, but perfectly made cakes, including those with fruit topping. Their twists (like sugar donut twists) have long been my favorite. The cream puffs are awesome, and the little brown balls with sesame seeds all over it and sweet red bean paste inside may not sound great, but they're my favorite (be sure to heat them up so they're nice and soft and chewy).
Top of the line Jewelry and watches, very attractive store, items, and even the employees appearance could only be described as attractive. Attractiveness sells... if you have the money for Rolexes.
The ladies here are extremely friendly and nice, and the clothes (for my mother) are business formal and nice. For quality, you pay a price, but even with great quality, these prices aren't set for the average consumer.
Go here if you look like you have a lot of money and want to be treated that way. Though the store is attractive and the selection is decent, the prices are expensive and the service is... friendly but empty. I went here once and came away without much desire to return as I felt I did not get the greatest deal. The workers act like they know a great deal and you (the customer) don't.
10 dollars for a men's cut is a decent price. They have gowns for you to put on, they wash your hair - included in the cut, and they're pretty nice. The cut itself? It's never great, sometimes not too good, but usually good enough. The price and being in the Koreatown Plaza get it four stars.
Being in the Koreatown Plaza, they cater to the needs of Koreans, so their selection, even for that, is pretty lacking. Their prices make up for it... in the wrong way. They're pricy. The place looks pretty cool, and plenty of Koreans come to shop, but I don't see much reason to actually buy anything here, especially with the better priced other Korean music stores in Koreatown.
This little cafe is like stepping into Europe with their great sandwiches (paninos), and selection of coffees and teas. They're desserts and breads are great and their butternut squash soup is everybody's favorite. Prices are fair, this is just a great place to know about. Everyone in the area goes by. It's less known, but they have some of the best oatmeal, too. Get it with cranberries and brown sugar.
It's loud in here, a lot of people in the back working, the sounds of steam... The person at the desk was friendly, gave me a nice discount for being a student... I thought I had found the place, but my pants came out... crispy? too much starch? It was the best job, I wasn't that satisfied so I don't go back anymore.
This store will fill your basic computer needs. I thought they had an amazing deal on blank DVD's I saw in an ad online, so I went in. The price was per DVD, not per 10 DVDs. The employee let me know, that's a mistake, and that was that. They were to the point, I guess they just do their job. They're across the street but I never go by anymore, despite my great deal of interest in shopping for and looking for computers and parts.
Consistently get me the best prices on flights to Korea and China. The owner, the lady with the headset talking non stop, is an absolute riot if she has time to joke with you (which she usually does between juggling five calls). At least give them a call and see how their prices are.
