My family and I have been going to this dentist's office almost as long as we've lived in the Dallas area and have never been unhappy with the service. The staff are like family to us by now and we're always greeted with smiling faces when we come in for a check-up. When I was younger, I had my braces done here, and now my brother is doing the same. For a staff that genuinely cares for their patients and does top-notch work, I wouldn't look farther than Christie S. Lee DDS, PC!
Whether this store fits your needs depends entirely on what you are looking for. If it's thank you notes, I highly suggest you check out the nearby CVS before spending $6 on one here. If, on the other hand, you want really lovely custom invitations or something like that, this would be the place to go. They also have a lot of gift wrapping materials and little odds-and-ends that make good gifts themselves, but it is all expensive. Again, it depends on what you're looking for, and you might just find a particular item here you love.
Less an emporium than a mini-mart, this store specialises in South Asian groceries and movie rentals. They also have a modest selection of legit Bollywood movies for sale as well as soundtracks and other Indian CDs. Service is not the friendliest but it is okay; sometimes they do not pay immediate attention to you if you have a question.
Convenient store that offers many of the essentials you'd need from a Kinko's, including copying, faxing, binding, laminating, and other related office services. You can also register a P.O. box here. They also make keys and sell various office supplies. Service is very very friendly. When they accidentally stapled my copies rather than hole-punched them, they offered to make all new ones for free rather than just take the staples out. Highly recommended!
This sweet shop features everything you need to make your home comfy and inviting, from scented candles to mini-antiques to bath and body products. They even have treats perfect for gift-giving, as well as jewelry and handbags. Very cute and a great place to pick up gifts.
This cozy shop features trendy clothing geared mostly toward young women. Much of it is "ethnic" inspired; besides apparel, they also have accessories like vanity boxes, purses, and jewelry. Staff is helpful if a little overbearing at times.
If you're looking for a salon with good service and a skilled stylists but want to skip the typical Tony & Guy or Regis, Osgood-O'Neil may be the place for you. Within the spacious, luxurious interior you have access to massages and face treatments as well as a full line of cuts, colors, and other hair treatments. A large selection of high-end imported salon products are available for sale. Very popular among the locals and a very friendly staff. The prices are not cheap, but for the atmosphere and service, for many it is worth it. They are closed Sundays and Mondays.
This shop carries inexpensive and trendy clothing geared toward teens and young women. Brands include BCBGirls and To the Maxx. Weekly sales begin on Mondays. Among the less-expensive shops at Mockingbird Station.
Despite what the business type here says, Sangam does not just carry music and movies, though it does have a large number of South Asian CDs for sale and DVDs and videos for rent. It does carry groceries too, though the other desi supermarkets nearby offer a larger selection. Service is not the friendliest.
This is a cozy German market carrying fresh meats and vegetables as well as a wide selection of (mostly North) European sweets and snacks. Authentic German sausage available here. You can also find European soaps, lotions, and shampoos, and German magazines for sale. Adjoining restaurant is recommended also. Currently in the process of a major exterior remodelling.
