Sentinel Paint Co

This is a nice little local paint store! They are really helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to paint. They carry some premium brands like Ralph Lauren so if you're looking for some cheap paint you've come to the wrong place. The paint they do sell is very good. They also have supplies and some faux decorating ideas as well as offer classes. They are located in a strip mall and parking is ample.

Johnson's Home and garden

This local hardware store is good if you just need to run up and get a few things. It has many different areas, gardening, plumbing, electrical etc. It doesn't have a huge selection like a Home Depot would have, but they do ok. The gardening center has a good selection of perennials and some decorative items as well. One of the reasons my kids like going there is for the free popcorn! It is centrally located and has easy access from 169. It is pretty competitive where the prices are concerned.

Enumclaw Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram

I drive 1/2 hour to this repair shop because it is very good! They are rated the highest in the area and it shows. It is real easy to make an appointment and the turn-around is good. They have a lounge where you can wait. It has coffee/tea & a tv. The best service they offer which is free is their shuttle. They will drop me back off at my house after I give them my car and pick me back up when my car is done. They are very friendly and have always done a good job. Another bonus is that your car comes back to you nice and clean...they give it a car wash as well!

Bartell Drug

I like Bartell Drugs for their pharmacy. It is very convenient in that you can refill your prescription over the phone. They will give you a time right then when it will be available to pick up. Then, when you are ready to pick it up, they have a drive-thru! That is so convenient, especially when I have my kids with me. Usually the prescriptions can be picked up about 3 hours after you call. Even if I have to go into the store for some reason, the wait is never long and they are very helpful. I've asked them for recommendations for over the counter items and they have made great recommendations.

Value Village

This Value Village has a fabulous selection of clothes to choose from! Real nice quality stuff and great name-brands. The store itself is organized nicely. It is easy to find what you are looking for. I also like the colored tag sales they have that last longer than a day (unlike Goodwills). The store is very clean and has a nice, large parking lot so parking isn't an issue. It is conveniently located as well. The only downside to this store, is I find they are very high-priced. Other Value Village's I have gone to have more reasonable prices.

Zales

We took 2 rings in to get sized, as well as 2 watches to get new batteries. The ring sizing was done in a little over a week. The watches they had to send out because they didn't have what they needed to get the backs off. Well, that was a fiasco. It took 2 weeks for them to get back to us, to tell us one needed more than a battery. They waited to do the battery on the 2nd one until they heard back from us. We told them what to do, and it took 2 more weeks. I had to call them to see what the hold-up was. Finally we got it, over 1 month later. They did do a good job sizing the rings though, and they cleaned one which looks fabulous now!

Boyds Of Bellevue

We were on the lookout for a xmas present and wanted to get a nice mantle clock. We walked into this store and found a nice selection. Their prices were pretty reasonable and we found what we wanted. They were very helpful and it was a nice place to shop.

Pier 1 Imports

I like coming to this store to browse, not necessarily to buy anything. They have beautiful candles, but they are a bit high priced. I like their selection of glassware which makes a nice wedding present. If I had the money, I would definately shop there more often! It is in a great location so there is ample parking!

Cedar River Antique Mall

While Renton's antique malls aren't as abundant as neighboring Snohomish, this one holds its own. The parking isn't too bad and there is a lot to look at once inside. The prices are comparable to other antique stores but treasures await!

Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium

We've gone here on a few fieldtrips for school and it's a great place to go! It is not as crowded as Woodland Park zoo so it is perfect if you have a large group. The elephants are fun to watch as they're so close. We also love the peacocks wondering around! They preen right in front of you and make for a great picture! There is ample free parking and a nice zoo!
