this is the place for you if you're into video games and interactive games. they have all types of shooting games and also a cool interactive game where you sit in this chair and you move up and down like a roller coaster shooting at bandits. their food is also decent but beware, it can become very crowded with rowdy kids on weekends. their upstairs is also full of your regular video game consoles. i particularly like the race car where you race against several opponents who are sitting next to you.
when visiting a customer, i had some free time so i went to visit car boutique in schaumburg. it's off of roselle road and very easy to find. they have anything you need to make your vehicle stand out of others. you can purchase anything from different lights to mesh grills and car care products too. they can also install stereo equipment and tvs. it's a nice size shop and i thought the parking was very poor in the front but came to realize they also have a huge parking lot in the back of the store.
i was recommended to go to sunset glass tinting for tinting my acura and they did an exceptional job. the owner took his time and never was in a rush. he also helped me pick the best shade of tint for my vehicle. every step of the way, he let me get a peak view whenever a door was done. the owner was very nice and there was no bubbling with the tint. they use the best tint and they can also tint your office windows. the price was very good and i will be going there for my next vehicle.
while visiting a friend last winter, i decided to stop by do it to it car wash and get the salt off my car. it is the same concept as most do it yourself carwashes where you put in quarters for a sprayer and a brush but this place you can close the doors to keep out the cold air. the spray was strong to get some of the salt and slush from the wheel wells and there was enough time to go over the entire car. they also have vacuum outside which cost more but i didn't try it.
when i have time, i prefer washing my own car and for the winter, i try to go to u do it car wash. it's your do it yourself car wash where you pay a few bucks where you have a certain time limit with the spray washer. there are seperate settings from soap to wash to final spray and wax. there is also a foam brush but i do not like to use brush on a car because it will create scratches on the paint. i prefer doing it myself because i can concentrate on a certain part of the vehicle where a automatic car wash may only cover very little. it's inexpensive and you can do it your way.
this is a nice car wash for the money. it seems their always busy and when you enter, you get out of the car from the outside and you tell the staff what you want. you then enter through the hallway where you can see your car at work through the soap, spinning cloth and the drying. it's very similar to a turtlewax experience. at the end, there are a few who dries your car and you pay them alittle tip if you like. i go there once in awhile because i have a client nearby and even during the afternoon in the winter, it can get busy.
woodfield acura is a nice dealership but i found they had the best pricing when i was looking at a acura TL. i found myself purchasing the car at woodfield acura because of their friendly service but most of all their good pricing. i had a feeling they had overstock inventory so they were more than happy to get rid of some TLs at a low cost. eventhough the car didn't have the heated seats that i wanted, i got a great price out the door. i also have my car service there and they were very nice and try to get me in and out as soon as possible.
i visited napleton acura when i was looking for an acura TL and the day i was there, the sales was so busy that there was no salesman to get information. i had to wait alittle while but finally i was able find a salesman. i don't think they are hurting in sales as the salesman wasn't even pushing for a sale as there were other customers waiting. they must be doing something right as the two saturdays i visited them, it was very busy.
i was looking for an acura for my work vehicle and i went to pauly acura to test drive the TL. they were very friendly and had a good selection but not as large as some others i've visitied. the salesperson allowed me to test drive the car. at that time i was just looking and so the salesperson wouldn't give me their best price. after a week passes by, the salesman called me every other day asking me if i'm ready to purchase. i then told him that i visited other dealerships and to beat a price i gave him over the phone he advised he couldn't so i didn't purchase through pauly.
i was able to make it to the 2004 us open and it was the first time i was at the usta tennis center. this place is huge with excellent facilities. i was there for the entire week and i was able to watch several matches in the first few rounds. the also have excellent food and it was very well organized. the staff was very helpful in finding places i needed to go. parking wasn't too bad but i took a cab for most of the days i was there. if you're a tennis fanatic, this is the place you need to go.
