When you're willing to drive 1.5 hours to go to the Beef House, you know it has got to be good! The steaks are great, the salad bar has a LOT of variety. I could possibly eat a truck load of the bread!
I don't know what they did to my chicken breast, but it was absolutely the juiciest, most tender, most flavorful one I have ever eaten. To actually remember great chicken....It must have been good!
Monical's pizza is NOTHING if not consistent! I really enjoy the thin cripsy crust, the sausage is my favorite topping. The sweet red dressing is GREAT! It is really good every time!
PROS: great pizza
I know people who really like this place, but I just don't get it. They do not have near the taste of other local bbq places. The only thing I like here is the creamed corn.
I really enjoyed the class I took at the Yoga Yoga studio. New to yoga, I was not intimidated because the instructor was very thorough and helpful. On an unlimited budget, I'd be here every day!
PROS: great instructors
I make the trip just to get my car done at Arbor Car Wash and Lube Center. It is worth the drive. In one stop, you can get gas, oil changed, and a very good car wash all for a reasonable price.
PROS: price service
CONS: need more in town!
We have friends who come to visit a couple of times a year. Every time, they HAVE to stop here to eat. They love it. My personal favorite is the french fries!
If you are in Austin, even only for a day, you MUST make Esther's Follies a priority. The comedy is excellent, always changing, and very current. LOVE the magician.
The Austin Java Company is a great place for any meal. They have a great variety on their menu. The food is consistently above average. The prices are reasonable.
Chuy's Hula Hut is a great place to take out of town guests. The food is generally very good, the view is great. Truly an Austin experience. We go there frequently.
CONS: can be very busy.
