Pipe World
I have done business with this store for years. It was the only place that we knew of to get a certain gift for a relative. When we went in there last Christmas, they no longer carried them. Instead of just telling us and sending us on our way without the item, they looked up the number to another store that might carry it. We called from their phone and were able to get what we were after. I highly recommend this store.
A Moment In Time
My wife and daughter had the most wonderful picture taken here. The professional allowed plenty of time for the session and did not make us feel rushed in any way. She does many "theme"session as well - bunnies and lambs at Easter, mini-bikes, and she goes on location to capture the beauty of the local scenery.
David Neuse Photography
I have never had such classy pictures taken of my wife. David made us both feel very comfortable and was able to capture her as no other has been able to do. We will not go anywhere else the next time we want photos.
Cotton Seed Architectural Antiques Accents & Design
This is not your typical antique store. They don't have many "run-of-the-mill" things. Instead they carry architectural components. They have many nice stained glass windows that are just looking for a new place to call home. The owner is the person who helped me on my trips in there. She was friendly and warm. I will be going back in the near future to find a little something to add a special touch to my house.
Bland's Jewelers
This store is rather small compared to those in the bigger cities, but you can't beat the service. Many of the pieces are made on premises. They do repair as well. You always get "service with a smile" here as well as good deals on nice jewlery.
Carter's Grocery
There is not much that sets this store apart from all the other small stores out there. It is clean, well-lit, and well-stocked. The prices are in line with the other stores in the area. I definately stop here regularly.
Holiday Drive-In Grocery
This small store has most everything that youcould need in the way of snacks and drinks. They also have night crawlers for those who need them. The staff is rather curtious.
Guthrie's Cleaners
The prices at this cleaners are very reasonable. They give personal service - often remembering your name even if you don't go in more than once a month or so. They take good care of my clothes too.
Quality Seafood
For the very best in fresh seafood this is THE place. They get fresh product flown in from around the world on a daily basis. They are extremely helpful when it comes to suggestions about different dishes or ways to cook the fish. They have helped me package shrimp for shipping. My relatives love getting the fresh shrimp from the gulf.
Kaleidoscope Toys
This store has everything. They have toys that you can try, they loan games to take home for family game night, they gift wrap, they even do parties. Where else can you go where it is acceptable for your kids to ride through the store on scooter-like things while you shop? I highly recommend this store.
