Adante Hotel

Our relatives from Spokane has came and visit us for their anniversary. We wanted to do something nice for them and we hosted a small anniversary party at the hotel. IT ws wonderful - the food was delicious and they loved their anniversary. We ended up with a medium-size bill - not huge but not small since the prices were around $20 per entree. Great place - hotel and the resaurant

Ritz 216 Eddy

I have held a birthday party for my daughter at the Ritz a few years back. The party was very elegant and the food was out of this world. Even for kids and you know how hard it is to please the kids. I thought he weighters were very attentive and in addition they looked after our kids - they catered to their delight

Old First Presbyterian Church

My cousin had planned their weding at the Old First Presbyterian Church and it was beautiful. The churce is very special looking - it is pretty for the wedding and for any other event. The hall with the food was not as "cool" looking but it was special - and it is nice to have the whole wedding at one place.

I loved the wedidng there.

Croatian American Cultural Ctr

My good friend is from Chez republic and he married a Chechz girl. They planned a party at the Slavonic Cultural Center and it was fun fun FUN! IT was loud, tasty and sencere. The Slavonic Cultural Center is very pretty and very Slavonic. It was very culture to attend that wedding and I think I may plan a non Slavik event there myself one of these days. Highly recomend this place

Forbes Island

I've looked up Forbes Island when planning a birthday party for my husband. I found it intriguing that a holw island would be reserved for us for the party. However, I soon found out the prices at the Forbes Island were outrageous and there was also a price to pay to transport people to the island. And so i did not plan a party there because of the costs involved.

Ace Casino Game Rentals

Ace Casino Rentals has wonderful casino rentals for any party. My sister in law has ordered the casoino tables, people and chips for her 30th birthday party and it was so different to not have to talk all the time but play play play. We all had a wonderful time and have ordered the equipemnt ourselves once after that. IT was a pure success.

Russian Center Of Sf Inc

My Ukranian girfriend had a wedding at the Russian Center Of S F. I have never heard of his place but I loved it once I saw it. It was perfect for a wedding. My friend was so pretty in her white gown walking down the isle at the Russian Center - and it ws perfect for her. The party was wonderful - very fun, energetic and the food tated spectaculair!!!!

Hornblower Cruises & Events

I was researching reception halls for my husband's 25th birthday party. I called Hornblower Cruises and I recieved such a huge price quote that I absolutely refused to host a party there. We once went on a small cruise there just the 2 of us - and it was great - but we could not imagine spending a HUGE sum of money on a birthday party

One Market Restaurant

I think One Market Restaurant is a great place for a small party but not for a large one - like a wedding. We considered it for our wedding but ruled it out soon after visiting because the space did not fit it for a large crowd. However, my parents had a birthday party there for 25 people and it was perfect. I have to say that the food is extraordinary there - really really good. And so is the service

S F Italian Athletic Club

I think a San Francisco Italian Athletic Club is a wonderful recpetion hall for birthday or parties. We went to a birthday party there once and we had a wonderful time. The place looked great and the cateres there (i don't know if they were provided by San Francisco Italian Athletic Club or not) cooked wonderful delicious home made food. I liked it and will consider for any of my events
