I had a sewer smell that I couldn't get rid of... The plumber from Perry searched and searched, he even videotaped the sewer but couldn't find a problem. It turned out to be the fact that there was no water in my trap...something simple. They didn't charge me for most of what they did. I was really impressed and the plumber was incredibly nice and polite. They showed up when they said so.
PROS: Nice, professional and polite.
CONS: Not the cheapest (not the most expensive.)
In one year my husband had a fender bender and I totaled a car (bus threw a large rock from its wheel and it went through my oil pan/block.) They not only paid up but they paid us more than we thought we would get. Not the cheapest, but definitely worth the money.
PROS: Pays up
CONS: Not the cheapest
I have had great service through Kaiser. Yes, occasionally I get frustrated...they don't have enough surgical rooms and so you wait months for surgery. However, Dr. Alan Cohen is one of the best rheumatologist around. He's great, thoughtful, funny and is a great practitioner. In addition, Dr. Luber happens to be one of the gynocologists too. I think Kaiser is good but you have to be the squeeky wheel.
PROS: Great Doctors
CONS: Hard to get into surgery...wait months for surgery.
I went to him for a six month period for a chronic disease. Although I tried to inform him that I did not do well on a certain medicine, he prescribed it anyway. I went to a new doctor who took me off of it and I improved. Press follows the recommended therapies, but he doesn't really listen to the patient.
PROS: Follows the recommended therapies
CONS: Doesn't listen to the patient.
Over fifteen years ago my dentist refused to see my toddler son after he fell at preschool and his gums/teeth were bleeding. I was told that he already had too many emergencies and hadn't had lunch yet. I was so angry. I picked up the yellow pages and chose Heather Adams in Chula Vista. She had no clue who I was but told me to bring in my son right away. The other dentist did us a favor. Heather Adams has been a caring and professional dentist with the latest equipment. All instruments are separately packaged. She has DVDs that you can watch while waiting in the chair or while she is working on your teeth. She is always "up" on the latest and best dentistry. We highly recommend her.
PROS: Kind, gentle, understanding and professional. Up to date.
CONS: Difficult to get an appointment sometimes because she is so busy.
This theater has stadium styled seats and several snack bars. You can purchase your tickets from ticket machines with a credit card. The prices are ok but you can only get special prices (other than matinee) by applying for and using their Movie Card. Whereas you can just show your student or military I.D. at Regal, you have to provide the AMC card first and then any additional proof they may need.
We like to get a small salad and share it. If you buy an order of breadsticks with it, you can easily split the salad and be full. We like the ribs as well. Good Prices.
PROS: Good food. Reasonable prices.
CONS: Limited menu
The food here is not that great, although it is a notch above taco bell and other fast food Mexican takeouts. There is usually a long wait. However, we do like the carnitas, which are great.
This Tai Kwon Do studio is the real thing. A Korean Master, Tiger Hong, and his family run it. They instill real discipline in their students and take great pride in their mastery of the art of Tai Kwon Do. Kids, expecially young teens, do well with them. They help build self confidence and strength in their pupils.
PROS: Great teachers, great discipline, real mastery of the art
CONS: Not the cheapest training
This Ross is not as well stocked as others and it doesn't get quite the quality of items as they do in Mission Valley or north county areas. It is always ina state of disrepair. They need more help to keep it cleaned and straightened.
PROS: Good Prices
CONS: Not kept up and not stocked as well as other Ross STores
