Sofia Skin Care & Electrolysis
I have gone to Sofia Skin Care & Electrolysis Clinic to remove hair from under my nose - lip area. I had a couple of sessions there and my hair is almost gone. I have had more success on other parts of my body - but I am just thankful that most of the hair from my lip area is gone. Sofia Skin Care & Electrolysis Clinic is a very good place - I recomend it.
Union Street Electrology
My toes are hairy and I always shave them. I decided to do electrolisis on them because I am just too tired of shaving them twice a week. So, I went to Union Street Electrology and my toes are hair free now. I love the job that they did on my toes and am very thankful to them. thank you Union Street Electrology!
Advanced Laser Clinics-Brkly
I went to Advanced Laser Clinics by recomendation. I had my hair removed from underarms. It took 5 sessions to reduce my hair to about 1%. I like the result - I now do not need to shave almost ever. Only sometimes I have to shave. I can go for touch ups yearly but I have not gone back yet and it has now been a year.
Saccheri Teresa
I went to Saccheri Teresa to remove hair from my chin. I think she did a good job - most but not all of my hair is now gone. This electrolisis is probably not good enough for larger areas - but on a face it is perfect. A little painful but so is waxing. I highly recomend Saccheri Teresa.
Silk Nail Salon
Silk Nail Salon is a very good looking place. It really stands out on Frankling street and I went there once to check it out. One of my nails was broken and the manicurist really did a good job to "grow it out" and match it to the rest of my nails. After I left the salon, my nails really looked perfect and noone would know that one of them was broken just 1/2 an hour ago.
Emma's Nail Salon
I was going to a wedding once and I had a manicure done at the Emmas Nail Salon. What a great job they did there. The nail polish looked perfect - sparkkly, smooth.My cuticle was cut to perfection. My hands looked better than any other pair of hands at the wedding and I will gladly recomend Emmas Nail Salon to anyone else in SF.
Nob Hill Nails
Nob Hill Nails is not a great salon. I have gone to a lot of places to do my nails but this salon - I am never going to visit again. When I went there 2 months ago, I had very brittle nails. The manicurist has filed my nails so much that I only had a thin layer left and the next day, 2 of my nails broke deep!!!!! I then had really ugly looking nails!!! Highly do not recomend this place.
Salon On Sutter
Salon on Sutter is a very cute salon that specializes in manicures. Whenever I need to have a special work done on my nails (like today) - I go to Salon on Sutter right after work. The girls are sweet and very professional. The prices are a bit more expansive then in the Richmond District - but they Salon on Sutter pays more in rent then people in Richmond do. I like this place and recomend it.
Bella Union
My cousin came to visit me a few weeks ago and we both went to the bella union to get a treat - a nice hair cut. I was in love with what the stylist ( a female) did with my hair - it looked so cool! My cousin was also impressed - she is from a small town and they don't get haircuts as cool as we get here in San Francisco. Overall, I really liked bella union.
Taraval Fitness Center
I was living with my parents while my house was remodeling. I joined Taraval Fitness Center to give my body a little workout. I though the gym was mediocre - but then again there is really no other alternative on Taraval stree in Sunset district. And that is why I don't to give it low ratings. If this gym was in a busy-gym neighborhood - then i would say that Taraval Fitness Center would not be a good gym to belong too.
