Inverno Eyeglass Ctr
Short review: Dr. Spirn makes you feel at home, explains things well, and is a good guy. Wait time is at least 30 min.
Long review: This is my experience with Dr. Spirn (not Dr. Inverno). I've been a patient of Dr. Spirn's for several years, and have never had a problem with his practice. The Dr. is a very nice guy who'll go out of his way to help you out. Most importantly, he knows his stuff. He'll explain whatever needs to be explained and doesn't speak in medical jargon.
The only negative, if anything, about this practice is the wait time - expect to wait at least 30 min to an hour during your visit (counting waiting room time and between tests). Great quality eye care is hard to get these days, so I don't mind.
Central Jersey Pediatric
Short review: Short to moderate wait time (<30 min), great place for kids, and the staff are really nice.
Long review: I've been a patient of Dr. Sherman's for as long as I can remember (I'm now 23). While I've outgrown his dentistry practice and moved on, Dr. Sherman's practice continues to thrive. And rightfully so. Every effort has been made to accomodate every patient (and their family), from the arcade games to the kiddie playroom and the magazines for the parents to read while waiting. The staff is well trained, and a great set of people.
If you're looking for a (pediatric) dentist, look no further.
Antonio's Brick Oven Pizza
Short review: Great place. Free wi-fi, and some of the best cheesesteaks in town. (maybe even in New Jersey)
Long review: Antonio's is an Italian restaurant specializing in brick oven pizza (hence the name). Not only are they the only brick-oven pizza restaurant in the area, they also make gourmet-style pizza, cheesesteaks, and a variety of other Italian dishes. Nearly everything is better-than-reasonably priced (cheesesteaks go for around $5, and that's cheaper than anything in the area). All in all, a great place to stop at if you're around. Nice people too.
