I did not have a great experience with the salon but it is difficult to rate a salon based on one experience because I could have just gotten a bad stylist. I felt like she did not listen to what I wanted for my hair but instead did what she thought would be best. I have very thin hair and the stylist used a razor to cut all my hair which left it looking horrible. The price was average in the area for a haircut but the stylist did not seem very experienced or friendly. I would not recommend going there unless you could be assured to get a stylist with more experience.
To clarify, I am a novice golfer so take that into consideration when reading this review. I think that this is a great place to golf - it is a laid back golf course that is challenging but fun. The club house is very nice with a bar and pool table. There is also a banquet room that can be rented out. The golf course is 18 holes and is well maintained. It is a nice course with trees and nice landscaping. The price is very reasonable for golf courses in this area. The facility is managed by the Lake County Forest Preserve.
If you are looking for a great place to bowl I would recommend Mundelein Lanes in Mundelein. There are lots of lanes to bowl on and a lot of pool tables as well. There are leagues that you can join with your friends. There is a bar there to get some drinks while you bowl. In addition there is a game room to play some arcade games. Prices there are reasonable. Overall, a great way to spend an evening for either bowling, pool, games, or just to have a drink.
The staff at this store is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The selection of instruments is exceptional and cannot be matched by any store in the area. They have a large selection of acoustic and electric guitars as well as keyboards and other instruments. They will repair your instrument at this store as well. There are lessons offered through this store. Prices are reasonable and negotiable on larger purchases.
The Libertyville Sports and Fitness Complex is a nice facility off of 45 in Libertyville. Outside there are both a 9 hole and 18 hole minitiature golf courses. The prices are a little high but it is a fun way to spend a summer evening. The 18 hole course has a neat waterfall going through it. There is also a group of batting cages outside. In addition there is a fenced in softball field on the opposite end of the complex. Inside the complex there are several basketball/tennis courts, indoor football field with astroturf, and a fitness center. The locker rooms are spacious and nice.
This hospital is first class all the way. My husband recently had surgery here and it was an exceptional experience from the moment we walked in the doors. The whole process was flawless - from timely admittance to the helpful checkout. The waiting room volunteers were very friendly. The facility was very nice and quite large. They had a trivia contest for patients that was sponsored by the hospital volunteers while we were there where we won a prize. The cafeteria had a good selection and the food was quite good for cafeteria food. Overall, the staff at Condell made an unpleasant situation comfortable.
This is a wonderful non-denominational church in a nice new building in Grayslake. There are 2 pastors there and they are fantastic. They are captivating to listen to and the messages are inspiring and relevant. The music program there is awesome - very gifted worship leaders. It is a laid back, no pressure atmosphere which is great for those visiting but also comfortable for regular attenders. It is a very large church which can be intimidating to some and it does make it hard to get to know people. There is a great children's program for children of all ages. If you are looking for a church where the whole family can have a meaningful and enjoyable worship experience this is the place!
When looking for home and auto insurance a couple of years ago we called this office to get a price quote on Allstate insurance. We were given a quote promptly and they were very helpful in explaining the provisions of the policies and the options that we had on the policies. The rates were great and we are very happy with our insurance policies. The whole process of switching insurance companies went very smoothly and the staff was very helpful. I would definitely recommend giving this office a call if you need insurance or just want to check rates.
We purchased a washer and dryer here last year and were satisfied with our shopping experience. As is typical in any store where employees are paid commissions we did feel a little led towards the higher end appliances when we were looking for basic features. The selection at the store was pretty good although not much better than the selection at Sears. Delivery was prompt. Overall it is a store with checking out and comparing prices for your next appliance purchase.
The Tri-County thrift store is located on the corner of Atkinson and Center Street in Grayslake. It is a small store in a strip mall. There are several racks of clothing for men, women, and children as well as shoes. There are also childrens toys. They have curtains and sheets and things in the middle as well as lot of miscellaneous household items along the shelves. They usually have a couple shelves of books as well. The store does have some furniture items but usually not a large selection. I had an incident there where my daughter got reprimanded for playing with a toy - not the friendliest staff.
