Desert Botanical Garden

I love this place for the unique and the large collection of desert plants and cactuses they have on display. I took my brother and sis-in-law when they visited us from Canada and they also loved the place. There is also an informative desert house that tells you how to live in arid areas comfortably and economically. I am sure gonna use some of these tips in my house. There is also a nice cafe with a wonderful music and a garden shop featuring dish cactus and some unique plants adapted to the arid environment.

Loi Phat Oriental Food Grocery

I stopped at this store since it is close to where I live. An awful smell greets you as you enter inside the store. I bought some prawns from them and they were not at all fresh. Even the garden produce is not fresh and overpriced. There are many other stores that fulfill the need without this strong smell and at lesser price

Tempe Cinemas

I love this place as this is the only place to catch an Indian (be it Hindi, Telugu or tamil) movie in Phoenix and surrounding areas. The seats are comfortable and the restrooms clean. We often visit them to catch a nice movie followed by dinner at one of the many nice places nearby. The tickets are available at a couple of places in downtown.

L A Adventure All-Suite Hotel

The is advertised as an all suite hotel but both the rooms are very small and the bedroom had hardly any walking space. The bathroom is also very small and not very clean. For breakfast they offer only blueberry muffins and coffee and those muffins were the worst I had ever tasted. The bar and the cafetaria hardly serve any edible food. Wouldnt stay at this property again

Hall Of Flame Fire Museum

Its a nice place to take kids out for a visit. The museum has several firefighting exhibits dating from the eighteenth century. It has more than 100 wheeled pieces and around 10000 small objects all related to the art of firefighting. My and my sisters boys loved this place and spent an entire afternoon there. It is a good value for money especially if you could manage 2 for 1 discount from the entertainment book

Bead Museum Store

This is a unique museum to visit and hosts a vast collection of almost million beads and beaded artifacts. It features both permanent and temporary exhibitions and has several tours and lectures throughout the year. We attended one that encompassed about the history and importance of beaded communication to mankind. I also got a wide variety of subject matter to read and a beautiful beaded jewellery box for my wife from the center

Princess Massage

Me and my wife had Irish massages at this place and were absolutely relaxed and satisfied. The therapist was great, the oils that she used were aromatic and sensual and after bath our skin felt like silk and new. I would definitely go there again on my next trip to Vegas

Arrowhead Flowers

They have some simply superb arrangement cut down for every occassion, need and budget. The delivery is always on time even on holidays. You can even order online. They also create special arrangements on very short notices. The decoration is always tasteful and is bound to gain appreciation from family and friends

Marble Slab Creamery

Wouldnt recommend for an icecream treat. They are very plane and the way of serving is poor. The icecream was dripping even as they served us the cone. It is expensive and not worth money. The tasted are ordinary not like fresh creams

Cactus Flower Florists

They are exceptional in what they do. The staff always welcomes you with a open smile and helps you select the perfect arrangement for any occasion. The prices are moderate and the quality of service is pretty high. They have a wide collection of flowers including exotic ones for special occasions.
