Orange Lake Country Club Rsrt

We bought a time share here in 1999. At the time it seemed like a good idea. The place has been going downhill for several years now. Our unit is always filthy, and when we call to complain, they tell us we could have it cleaned if we want to pay $150 more to have them do it. We already pay over $500 a year in maintenence fees, so I believe we have the right to expect a clean unit. If you simply MUST buy a time share, don't buy from them directly. Go on ebay or another place online to get the unit and week you want for about 20% of the cost Orange Lake charges.

PROS: Nice relaxing pool area
CONS: Dirty rooms, high maintenence fees

Rainforest Cafe

We like going to the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney. The atmosphere is what you are paying for here. The food is subpar and very expensive. We still like to go when we have out of town guests visiting us just because it is fun. There is a nice gift shop, too. The wait can be pretty long at times, but it is worth the wait.

PROS: fun atmosphere, great for tourists
CONS: below average food, pricey meals

Abc Cleaning Co Inc

My husband hired this company to clean the vents in our house. We have 20 vents and 4 returns, which cost about $750 to have cleaned. Three guys showed up on time and got right to work. We were very happy with their service and will use them again in the future.

Fun Spot Of Florida Inc

My kids love to go to Fun Spot. We buy an arm band so they can ride all day long for one price. It is possible to go for a shorter amount of time and just pay per ride, though. They have several rides (bumper cars, ferris wheel, etc) and a snack bar. The arcade is fun, too.

PROS: Fun for the whole family
CONS: No rainchecks if the weather is bad

Landscape Nursery Inc

Every year we buy our flowers at this nursery. They have a great selection of plants and flowers, as well as beautiful palm trees. The staff is friendly and helpful. I wouldn't go any other place for my landscape needs.

China Garden

My family orders food from China Garden once or twice a month. It always arrives quickly and is still hot. They offer a good selection of vegetarian dishes, which is great for us. Delicious food and inexpensive prices.

West Orange 5

My family likes going to the West Orange 5 movie theater. They have inexpensive tickets, which are only $6.50 for each adult. The selection of food is better than a typical movie place.

PROS: Wide selection of food, cheap ticket prices
CONS: Not the most modern theater

Kirkman Area Animal Clinic

I have a regular vet, but when she was out of town, I took my cat to this animal clinic as an emergency. The staff was friendly and caring and the doctor was very gentle with my injured cat. If my vet, whom I've been with for 5 years ever moves, I will go back to this clinic without hesitation.

Jersey Mike's Subs

Jersey Mikes has the very best subs around. My husband says it's like "Subway on steroids". They have delicious food and the prices are certainly reasonable.
