Bed Bath & Beyond
I went to this place to go matress shopping and the "showroom" is just mattresses against the wall and some with no boxsprings or displays just lying on the floor. When sitting on one, the mattress sagged and the guy there had all these delivery fees and we lived right down the street. I think there are better places out there. He didn't seem to understand that I wasn't buying a mattress that I couldn't lay or sit on.
PROS: lots of mattresses
CONS: couldn't sit on too many
Aurora Hair Salon
The service was ok , reasonable prices, hair turned out a little dry though. You have to watch what they do, I guess with any hair stylist, but they took liberties without asking way too much. You have to constantly be on them not to take off too much hair, and one time they put color in my hair, making me a sort of red head, I like my brown hair fine. You also have to keep them paying attention because the stylist can get distracted easliy while cutting and has burned me a couple times with a curling iron. If you need a quick styling without too many cuts, and color you might want to check this place out, otherwise there are others out there.
PROS: ok service
CONS: stylists take too much liberty with their tools
Color Head
Even though the stylist are great, the costs are needlessly expensive. A relaxer is 90.00 when it's 50.00 everywhere else, with the same results. I was very pleased with the service and the people, but they need to lower their prices just a tad. They give you coffee and a smock so you change into it immediately to not get your clothes dirty. And they pay attention to you, just so expsensive.
PROS: nice stylists
CONS: expensive

He was nice, didn't say much at times, but interacted with you. He researched all medications and interactions himself, and also insurance too! (at least for me). He was nice and offered reasonable suggestions. He types as you talk too, and you get to see the screen! ( at least I saw it) He was also up on giving you free samples so you wont have to waste your money on a prescription that dosen't work for you.
PROS: Took his time
CONS: none that I can see

I went to this Doctor awhile back and he prescribed some medication that wasn't treating me right, and the recptionist put me on hold, consulted him and said to stop taking the medication and put me with another appointment. When I got there I had a change of medical insurance, and he saw me and screamed at me (literally) that he didn't care what the recptionist said, that I don't stop taking medication unless he himself tells me too no matter how much it affected me; and then says stop taking the medication! So here I am crying, and I said I also had my insurance changed, but he didn't hear me, he shouted "you don't have insurance! I can't see you without insurance." after RE EXPLAINING myself, I left and they asked me to schedule another appt, and I said NO WAY. Would never EVER recommend someone like this even IF he was just having a bad day! NOT to mention he did say stop taking the medication, and I needed to be weened off of it so I ended up in the ER.
PROS: There are NO PROS
CONS: Stay AWAY
High Tide Inc
High Tide is a good place to buy insense, and holders. Purchased a incense holder that looks like a genie lamp for a friend of mine and it only cost 7.00. The rest of the merchandise is way too expensive for me. You have to do a lot of hunting around in the store for deals, and the people there some do and some don't know their stuff ( goes with any place though.) Even though they have a nice selection. The t-shirts are some of the funniest ones I've ever seen but they are 18+ oriented.
PROS: Nice selection
CONS: expensive, have to hunt for bargins
La Carreta Restaurant
Went with family to eat there, the food was ok, ending up eating Asado, a beef stew like food. THe prices were great, but I had to have my husband order for me because no one spoke too much English there, which can dampen the experience. Even when I tried, they responded in spanish.
PROS: food is ok and prices as well
CONS: no one speaks english
Sunset Place
I don't really shop at sunset place, but go to the movies from time to time. If you validate the parking at the theater you'll get a discount off the parking, even though it IS expensive. ( that's why I don't shop there) It's best to use the automated machines to buy tickets or buy tickets online because you'll be wating AWHILE if you decide to buy tickets in line. The theatre is large with nice cushy seats and a large screen. Consession foods, of course is expensive.
PROS: Nice seats in theater
CONS: it is expensive to park there
Los Ranchos Of The Falls
The food here is AMAZING! The churrasco is the best to order there, quick service, friendly staff, and nice portions. Until you get the bill. So you have to bring $$ to spend, it's expensive. two people can easily be 50-60 dollars.
PROS: Great food

Discount Pc Parts
I went there to get an old copy of windows 98se to put on an old computer I had and the guy there said one price when I got there the price went up a couple of dollars. (50-58!!) It felt kind of fishy and when I asked about the return policy and where the disc came from he chuckled... hmmm... would only return if I was as desperate as I was when I bought that disk. The disc did work and it was fine and the key was legit but it's not funny to laugh nor to ask.
PROS: ok price, nice to go where you need something quick.
CONS: people are kinda flippant
