Alexanders Pasta Express
Alexander's is one of the best Italian restaurants in Pittsburgh! Delicious food and quick service, plus a great menu with plenty of variety. They deliver to local areas, so you don't even have to leave your home to experience the tasty food! Hurrah!
Day Volkswagen
Imports by Day is a great place to buy a VW! They provide many great services, some without any charge. They have very flexible maintenance hours, and all of the staff is helpful and friendly!
Charlie Murdochs Restaurant
Halo has great drinks and a snazzy atmosphere. The downstairs especially has a large dance floor and great DJ to provide plenty of entertainment. Neat bar!
Crowbar
Crowbar is a great place to see lots of different bands from around the country. Admission is very reasonable, as are drink prices. Many national shows have under 21 options, which is great for the college crowd. Highly recommended!
The Saloon
The Saloon is a great place any night of the week. Their specialty is the Monkey Boy, a pitcher full of many different liquors and a major flavor of your choice. Fun entertainment and karaoke! Just steer clear of the bathrooms- they are as shady as any bar bathroom.
Sports Cafe & Grille
Sports Cafe is a State College classic located at the edge of the downtown area. Featuring gigantic televisions and plenty of drink choices, this bar is fun any day of the week!
Zeno's
Located "directly above the center of the Earth," Zeno's pub provides an interesting basement atmosphere. There are always unusual bands playing, but that leads to fun crowds and dancing!
Jack Rose Bar
Jack's is a classic dive bar filled with Pittsburgh's finest. Open 365 days a year, the staff is surly but kind; the drinks are cheap yet delicious. Go to Jack's in scruffy jeans, and enjoy the grit!
True Cafe & Bartini
True is a relatively new bar in the North Side of Pittsburgh. Located near the Children's Museum, this bar serves delicious martinis made with top-shelf liquor. This is also a smoke-free bar, which is a refreshing change from many Pittsburgh places. Stay classy!
Tom's Diner Southside
Tom's Diner is a classic Pittsburgh night spot. Open 24-hours, this place is perfect after a night on the town. The food is greasy, but that makes it taste even better. The staff is quick on their feet, and there are always very interesting customers to meet and greet. Love it!
