Yes Car Service has always gotten me to my destination in a quick, professional, and safe manner. I used to have to leave for work at 530 am and I was always able to get a cab. I have arrived at my destinations on time. Their phone operators are helpful and polite. Cabs come within 10 to 15 minutes usually and have great range. I find their prices reasonable and their cab drivers nice enough. I've never felt unsafe. I think they run a great and effective business.
New Elegante Car Svc
I have used this cab company once and was satisfied. What I like about them was they arrived fast, nice driver and after being dropped off he asked if and when I would be calling for pick up to go back. He then handed me his card with cell phone number and cab number and said he would try to be available at that time in that neiborhood for my convenience. I did take him up on his offer and he came to my rescue to take me home.
Apple Express Car Svce
Yeah, not so great. One time we called them to pick up me and some of my friends in staten island to go out to a bar. We had to be at the bar by 9Pm to make the opening act, our friends band. They took almost 30 minutes to come, by which point we had already called another cab. So the guy outside yelled at us when we walked out and bypassed his cab.
Repairs On Wheels Inc
I have a 98 Pontiac Grand am se. Im seeing a low coolant sensor light come on my car. I see no water leaks under my car or signs of water coming out on the driveway? I checked the coolant area it was low on coolant, put some antifreeze and drove it and still seeing this light come on. They finally found out it was the sensor. They just charged me for changing the sensor. Other people would have changed many other things and charge me a lot.
Lucky Star Auto Service
I took my car into Lucky Stars for some damage from an accident. My insurance company paid for everything, but I can attest to the fact that they do excellent, timely and quality work. The service was exceptional, the staff was very helfpful and they could not have been more helpful or accomodating to my needs. The repairs were done flawlessly and were finished much sooner than I expected.
Church Ave Auto Repr Incorporated
I like this auto place because you can't beat the oil change price! The staff there are friendly and they will change your oil within 20 minutes. I was so satisfied with their service that I had both my transmission oil change and my battery changed there. They charged me a really good price and made my commute so much more pleasant.
Boro Park Auto Diagnostic Center
My girlfriend needed new brake pads and I saw a commercial for 29.99 installation and pads for 4 wheels so I told her to go there since my job was only a few blocks away. So she does and then calls me and says they are charging her $800.00 for JUST the rear brake pads and rotors. She had already paid so there was nothing that could be done. I went in there and asked the guy how could a $100 job cost 800 and he started telling me about how bad the rotors were. If you are REPLACING something it does not matter how bad the old ones are. Definately scam artist mechanics who need to be kept away from!
Swift Auto Collision
I ask for a breakdown of all the parts.. they say this is the cheapest I can find and it would cost so much to put my car back together, plus the initial brake check (which is waived if you get new brakes there). So it would have cost me over $150 to put my car back together just to take it somewhere else. Whatever. I was a huge idiot and paid the $750 for what was supposed to cost me $30.
Two Guys Auto Center
I went in for new brakes because mine had started to make a funny noise and I had seen a commercial for a $30 brake job. What a lie. Not really knowing all the ins and outs of car repair, I believed them when they said that my pads needed to be replaced. No problem. But then came my rotors.. which cost $80 a piece. Hmmm.... plus labor. So the bottom half of my car is torn apart and then.. they find my calipers needs to be replaced.
Holy Land Auto Repair
Great service for regular maintenance (oil changes, smog checks, brake jobs, etc.); always friendly and informative. The only knock against the place is that sometimes you have to wait a couple of days to get an appointment, but that seems a relatively small price to pay for reliable service.
