As long as you have an unlimited budget, this store is great. Helpful staff, fantastic selection of unusual items and a range of sizes. You can definately find a one of a kind gift here! I have also utilized their gift wrap services, when I've been short on time.
Parking is a bit of a gamble, as it is all on street, downtown Edmonds.
Great camp, my kids have gone there for church events, as well as a series of day camping weeks. Feels like you're WAY out in the country.
I vote for the overnights, as the camp is just a little too far out to make it workable as a day camp. There is nothing close to do while you're waiting for the pick up time and it is just too far out to go all the way home each day.
Hires great staff, enthusiastic, kid loving young people usually.
I've called in an order to them, only to have it delivered a day early and seemingly not fresh flowers. My recipient wasn't home to receive the flowers, but did take a picture of them for me......I wasn't happy.
Won't use them again. I think they take advantage of phone orders, figuring the customer will never see them.
Parking is at times impossible, as it is just on street, downtown.
These guys are great. John has managed to keep my furnace running for over a decade & it wasn't new when we started making repairs. I love that they fix things instead of just tell me to buy a new one.
I can usually get them out to the house within a couple days, sometimes sooner! Nice service, small family owned business.
I confess I've never purchased a ready made costume from this store, however I have looked at them when I've been in to pick up items to make costumes with.
Definately costume type sewing, not made to last, but there is usually quite a good selection as long as you're not shopping in October.
A great selection of fabrics, trims and such for making your own costumes...and much of what they have works for weddings, proms, etc.
PROS: tons of parking
Get past the outside of this restaurant and enjoy a wonderfully exotic meal. The meats were my favorite, done to perfection....but the veggie offerings were just as good.
Huge portions, plenty to take home for snacks or next days lunch.
Not big on relaxing atmosphere, the TV is usually playing, loudly and not in English.....so maybe it is atmosphere!! Definately a hang out for locals, always busy when I visit.
CONS: Parking lot is tiny and dark
I've been going here for years and it seems to be consistant in the quality of the food.
Wait staff sometimes don't speak English, unless there happens to be one of the younger kids serving.
Typical family style offerings, nothing too creative, but huge portions and prices that aren't sky high.
Parking is OK, but getting to the restaurant is tricky due to it being located at a really busy intersection. You need to be on the correct side of the street or you just can't get to Wongs.
Great take out menu.
I ate here recently, and was disappointed. It looked as though no one had been doing routine maintenance on the interiors since it opened. Used to be a great place to take company on Sunday morning for a leisurely breakfast with lots of non stop coffee and great wait staff.
Nothing quite came up to my expectations this last visit. Seemed to have slipped in all areas, still pretty good food, but I prefer to spend my money on something better than just pretty good.
Lots of parking, shares the lot with a grocery store.
Even though the restaurant has been purchased recently, they have kept most of the traditional items on the menu.
The outside isn't as cute as it used to be with overflowing flower beds.......everything has been allowed to die. But, if you discount that & go in anyway......the food is good, home cooking type of things.
They offer a nightly special, which makes a very affordable meal. Ordering is done at the counter, and the wait staff brings you your meal when it is ready.
A good place to take kids, as the wait for your food is fairly short and it isn't a white tablecloth sort of place.
Adequate parking, a bit difficult to get to if you're going north on Hwy 99, you have to go around the block or turn around somewhere and come back on the west side of the highway.
I've been lucky enough to have one child attend this school.....when it was just a new concept. The school now offers so much more, it is so worth it for you to check it out. The Seattle area is lucky to have a student driven school available. Tuition is very steep in my opinion, however they do offer scholarship monies if you apply for them.
I've been more than impressed with the quality of young people this school turns out as well as the creative way they meet students needs and requests. Quite a place!!
