Sports Den
These guys are a joke. They laugh at you when you purchase a hat. I got a response once, "that's all?" as if it were a waste of their time. I would buy more things from them if the price was reasonable, but they hike up the prices way too much. They have a snobby staff that lounge around and only will help you if you ask for it.
Champs Karting
Very pricey, but if it were free I would go anyday. This is one of the more hardcore places to race karts. Great to have staff parties and friends go to. The facility is generous in size and has fast, agile karts. Check it out beause this is what it's all about. This will drain your pocket though.
Honda of Seattle
Ha, they offer the best deals on cars hands down on the GROUND! The cars are very solid as they last for years and years. They warrenty plan is great because you can drive the heck out of them and still have them replace your faults. But don't take advantage of this because it won't last too long if you do. They also have a great staff because they'll make an effort to sell you a car even if you are just looking around.
Computer Sonics
Good computer stop as they carry a lot of upgrades and hard drives. The lcd section of the store has a lot of brands. If you find a better price else where, they'll match it for you. The also have a lot of games and pc games. The crew there takes care of their customers and will answer your question to the best of their ability and will always consult other workers if they don't know the answer. The only problem is that the have very few stores.
Apple Store
The shop is amazing. The tech staff is smart and tells you everything you need to know about a G4 to an Ipod. They offer the student discount which is a bonus. They have several ipods on display and let you tamper with them if you want. The store is easy to find as it is loacted at the corner of the ave. They also have the lastest video ipod!
Kings Discus
This place is very fishy. The store owner has an assortmentof chiclids. The store mosly consists of flowerhorns. The prices are very expensive because the owner doesn't know squat about their actual value. The fish are really big and the store is easy to find, it is on Jackson and has a bright sign.
Museum Of Flight
This is an awesome place to visit if you are a airplane freak. They have a replica of the first Wright brothers place infront of their theater. They have actual planes in there and there are a lot. They have a exhibit on the history of planes and some of the first places. They also have more planes in the back of the building! All are real, and very amazing. It is conviently located on Boeing field and has a steal of admission price.
Key Arena Seattle Center
The most beautiful ball park I've been to. As a matter of fact I've been to only two, the kingdom and this one. It was recently build and not too old. They have a retractable roof and is great because it's next to the water and you have a great view of elliot bay. NOt much of a hassel to find parking because the garage is right next door. The garage is also conected to I-90 so all of eastside people have easy access to the freeway. The mariners are a good team and they can only get better. Have fun!
Seattle Seahawks
Quest Stadium is right next door to Safeco Field. The seahawks are great. They throw long bombs, and King Alexander is a rush king. I went during a playoff game against the Rams. We lost but it was fun. The open air stadium allows the cheers to echo. Once of the best stadiums in football at the moment. Check out the ehibition center where they hold shows too. Quest is my greatest adventure so far. Check it out as the hawks are headed for the playoffs.
Emp Music Museum
This is a great museum for the music fanatics!!! They have a mural of guitars together and they look fantastic, an array of colors and shapes. I loved their exhibits as they had seattle greats, such as Hendrix. Paul Allen really put some thought into this one, because almost everything is flawless. The structure of the building itself is suppose to be a "shattered" guitar. The prices are a bit steep, but worth it if you love music. It is located in the middle of the seattle center and you won't miss it, it's bright!
