Nettie's has been in St. Louis for a very long time. Their flowers have always been known for their exceptional quality and beauty. They have gorgeous arrangements and work well with people for events, weddings, and other needs.
Stop by on a Saturday afternoon and find some great deals on cut flowers to decorate your own home!
El Maguey is becoming a St. Louis landmark. It offers great Mexican food, fast, hot and with friendly service. In a town that has needed decent Mexican food for years, we are happy to have El Maguey available to us now. Sometimes there is a wait, but it's rarely long and you can take that time to enjoy a margarita before being seated!
The taco salad is a great meal at a great price.
This Italian Restaurant in the heart of the Hill is worth the wait. Don't miss the salad! The dressing is so good that you can buy it bottled to go! It's a St. Louis tradition!
By far, one of the best items on the menu is Chicken Picatta- the sauce is light and perfect and the chargrilled chicken is topped with bread crumbs and melted cheese. Delicious!
The Hill in St. Louis is known for fabulous Italian food! Food TV has featured the area a couple of times in the past but Favazza's has to be the BEST restaurant on the Hill. Their artichoke hearts appetizer should not be missed. The Sicilian Steak has enough garlic to ward off vampires for years but it's so delicious that you won't mind! The service is great and friendly and attentive. Call ahead to find out their service hours- they also have a "Back room" for parties and catering@!
Cunetto's has been around for a long time and while their menu may have been updated, the quality of the food is still as good as it was 20 years ago! Don't miss the toasted ravioli and the canneloni. The wine list is nice and the service is terrific. It's often busy so plan to get there early and have a drink in the bar. The cocktail waitresses will be happy to get you started on an appetizer.
This place has great Greek food and reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and very helpful when they are asked questions. We asked about the special Greek soup they serve and the waiter brought us a bowl to share at no charge! He also helped us save $5 on our bill by encouraging us to skip the special and go with something on the regular menu (it came w/ the salads that we wanted whereas the special didn't!)
Ever need to serve dinner to the family and you just don't have time to cook?? P'sghetti's has the solution to your problem. For about $20, you get a large salad with a terrific italian dressing, a large loaf of garlic bread, a large bowl of pasta (spaghetti or mostacolli) and a sandwich (16 inches or so) on the BEST bread I've ever had. It's sort of sweet and soft and delicious! This meal easily serves 4 adults and a few kids!
Be sure to call ahead, they don't have very extensive hours on weekends but they'll have your order ready and waiting for you!
The food at Tucker's Place is terrific. The steaks are great- salads are delicious but it's rather pricey and they aren't very accomodating for families. If you are looking for a night out with out the kids, this may be a great option for you. If you want family friendly, go down the street to one of the other many restaurants in the area.
Dr. Bles and his staff are great. They are flexible with a wide variety of appointment times available. He's gentle and careful when cleaning and works hard to make you feel comfortable. They are in-network providers for Cigna Dental so if you are on that plan, you won't have any surprises on your bill. The office staff are great. Easy to talk to and they'll work with you to make sure you are getting all the benefits you are supposed to! They are happy to bill the insurance too, saves time and hassle with filing claims!
