I don't know if this is a great location, there are two or more other Indian restaurants in the neighborhood. They are poor on customer service. They say they'll give you rice with each entree, but they don't. And when you ask for it, they make a big, deal...how inexpensive is the rice compared to losing the customer. There is street parking available, which might take a while to find. The food is consistent as the places accross the street. I think there is price gauging involved, everyone keeps there prices a little above 10 dollars. All of the Indian restaurants, on N Charles Street.
PROS: nice on the Inside
CONS: pricey, bad customer service
This is a really bad doctor, and an incredible inaccurate diagnostician. I wouldn't recommend him at all, not even to my worst enemy. He doesn't take health very seriously and is only after money. He misdiagnosed severe chest pains and restlessness for symptoms for the common cold. He refers you to his specialist relatives, so they can earn a few bucks off you.
PROS: nothing good can come of going to him
CONS: a big rip off, bad diagnostician
The food is okay here. It seems to be Laurel's only Indian restaurant. They give pappad for appetizers, but forget most of the time, which only says they lack customer service. The food isn't all that. The prices are less, but then the quality is not that good. There is ample parking in the parking lot, they are located on Route 1, good location.
PROS: buffet is cheap, location is good, parking ample
CONS: food is okay, more quantity and quality needed
They make good food, but it isn't always the same. I wouldn't recommend taking any sort of thali at this place. Also, they handle big groups. The have a great lunch buffet that they are famous for, it isn't that pricey. They have many items, but not as much as I've seen in Woodlands or Minerva.
The restaurant can look more elegant. There is ample parking.
PROS: good buffet which isn't so pricey
CONS: lacks many items in the lunch buffet
This is a great restaurant. There quality has to be good because there are two to three Indian or Indian type restaurants within walking distance. There food is really good, but the prices are a bit high. Just once I would like to see prices per item being around 8 to 10 bucks. Not above 10 dollars. I would like a little more quantity.
PROS: good customer service, nice restaurant
CONS: prices are the same over $10
Great Georgetown Location across from the Georgetown Mall. The restaurant is elegant looking and expensive even when you are buying a simple meal. I don't mind paying more, I just would like quantity when I do it. There is hardly any parking nearby, you'll have to find street parking a bit far. The customer service is pretty good. The quality of food is pretty good as well. I didn't find anything out of the ordinary...like awesome here.
PROS: great location, good quality, but not all that.
CONS: parking not nearby, expensive,
The menu is somewhat limited, especially if you are vegetarian. In their defense they do try, with mystery vegetarian loaf, that I was too scared to try. Had the Eggplant Parmesan, it was undercooked and the eggplant was old. They are very extensive with their ice cream flavors. They also have a section for a small group to gather over lunch/dinner. The place has a distinct odor of the country and not the good country smell.
PROS: many ice cream flavors, can hold gatherings
CONS: food quality is not that good
The food is good, the location is okay. It is deep inside Columbia, where no one roams. The restaurant is pretty big, pretty much always empty whenever you go. This doesn't make the owners want to step up and lower the prices and increase the food quantity. The lunch buffet is good but the prices are the usual 10-11 bucks, but it doesn't offere anything...just the typical amount of items. They ambiance is good, they have a very clean restaurant.
CONS: expensive, need better quality and quantity for the money
Udupi used to be a very popular restaurant. It expanded and became a little bigger, did not grow that much in size. It has become more renovated. The food quality is okay some night and great some nights. Never consistent. The parking is limited. Comparitively, I like Woodlands better, it serves Indian Chinese as well.
PROS: good restaurant, pretty popular, vegetarian items
CONS: limited parking, inconsistent food quality
They have great low prices for manicures. They have great customer service. They have plenty of parking. The bad thing is that the entrance is that good, you have to travel inside the shopping center to get to the place. The shopping center has been newly constructed, so its has a nice new look.
PROS: cheap prices, good customer service
CONS: they need a better entrance
