Ear Nose & Throat Treatment
Dr. Milbrath is very professional and explains everything from start to end about treatment options. I had a polyp in my nose, bad sinus', & I was pregant when I first went to see her. I have done nothing but brag about how wonderful she is. She got me thru my pregnancy, went over the options, and after the options ran out I had surgery (she preformed it). She was my second opinion and I am so happy I went to her .
Falls House Of Cakes
Whenever we would go on a doughnut run we ran to the Falls House of Cakes. Their bakery is mouthwatering. Get there early in the morning for best selection, otherwise it's GONE!
Kid's Room
I wanted to buy a saucer. I saw it in the window while waiting for the light to change. Anyway, I call to ask the price. There's no price on it yet, but it's in the WINDOW! So I stop in a week later & it's still there I ask about it. YET NO PRICE but it's displayed! So I give the gal my # & calls maybe 2 weeks later to tell me the price. I don't think they should be putting out items for sale if no price has been determined.
You can do better on the prices at a rummage sale or just waiting for something similar to go on clearence.
T & K Balloon Decorating
the owners & employees are super nice and they have a large variety of novelties and dart supplies. Though if you don't know where they are you may just drive on by with out realizing it (the building blends in well).
The Salvation Army
I wouldn't recomend this particular location at all! When I do find items I'm interested in they are usually in pretty shabby & or dirty condition. I think they must get what the other local thrift store rejects.
Cost Cutters
Being a larger sized gal I thought this would be a nice place to try instead of spending half my day going thru thrift store racks hoping to find something in my size. I about fell over when I saw the prices! If I wanted to pay these prices I'd shop the department stores and get the things brand new for the same prices or less.
River Bend Shoe Ctr
They carry specialty shoes more specifically for seniors with some foot problems & or hard to find widths. The shoes are a nice quality but they cost typically MORE than going to any local department, mass shoe chain, or discount store. The customer service is nice but the prices are quite steep for the most part.
Waukesha Public Library
They have a variety of books, music,toys, bears, and videos to borrow for free. They have a play area in the childrens section for lil ones and puzzles to use. I like the childrens programs for lil ones, however they need to have activities (like story time) on a more regular basis than for just a few weeks whereas other local libraries offer them year round atleast once a week. Espcecially during winter when there is little to do to keep little ones from getting cabin feaver.
Patterson Orchards
My family has been going there 25+ yrs as well to this family ran orchard. They still sell Mrs. Patterson's famous yummy carmel apples. They print up cards of when certain apples become available so you always know when your favorites are in season. Try the honey ice cream, it's a bit different then the typical store bought but it's very very very very good! They do sell other fruit as well alot of it is from Wisconsin or Michigan.
Brennan's Market
It doesn't carry a full line of grocerys but it does carry a great variety of unique Wines, Fruit, Cheese, and some bakery. They always have a ton of samples around so it your not sure about spending the $, try a sample it'll change your mind.
