Our AC froze so we called McGee (solely based on radio ads on a local sports station) knowing very little about them. When they were the only ones nearby that could come out "same day," we decided to give them a shot. Our unit was running again within minutes of the technician's arrival. Prices are VERY fair and even less expensive than what I'm used to paying for AC maintenance. In the future, we will turn to McGee for any maintenance needs.
I only recently became a patient of Absher Neurology and, so far, I have been very impressed. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The procedures I've had done there have been pleasant. During each visit, I'm given an adequate amount of time with the Doctor/NP to discuss my concerns and the "plan of attack" before my next appointment. They have been diligent in performing tests to determine what's causing my symptoms and I'm very grateful for their dedication.
Even before our son was born, the staff of Clemson Peds made time for us to "interview" a doctor to determine if they were right for us. We immediately liked Dr. Stephanie Russ-Barber and her "straight up" approach to medicine. Since our son's birth, we have enjoyed the care exhibited by the staff of Clemson Peds. Fortunately, we have had to make only one trip outside of our Well Baby Check-ups, but they squeezed us in even though they didn't have to that day because they were only 5 minutes from closing. Sometimes the wait is a little long, but we don't mind them spending extra time with other patients because we expect the same level of care for our son.
My husband had four impacted wisdom teeth. Dr. Lebedovich took the time to go over the pros and cons very thoroughly before his operation. The surgery went well even though the doctor had to basically break his teeth apart to remove them. The only side effect is that my husband lost feeling in one side of his tongue. However, we were aware that numbness was a good possibility. Within six months, he had regained almost all feeling. The last visit, my husband saw Dr. Joudeh and to sum it up, we wouldn't have opted to have his surgery done at this practice had Joudeh been the one to do it.
Movie Gallery is a pathetic excuse for a video rental store, unless, of course, you're interested in nothing more than porn. If that's the case, I would highly recommend Movie Gallery's selection, but good luck finding an employee that has a clue about what's going on or that understands the meaning of customer service. They carry few new selections. On a positive note, if you're looking for an obscure older movie, you have a good chance of finding it there, but, it's most likely going to be VHS.
My husband and I were disappointed when our local Popeye's closed. This is the only one within 150 miles of our home. We have family in town, so we always plan to eat at least one meal there while we're in Columbia. However, we'd probably plan the occasional day trip just to eat there. The service is adequate, but the food is phenomenal. Popeye's chicken really IS the "shiznit" (Reference to Adam Sandler's "Little Nicky").
The properties shown are not worth the amount of money you are asked to put down and the Realtors basically have the attitude of "Hurry and make a decision. If you don't, we don't care because someone else will come along." My advice is to do as I did: AVOID being forced into something overpriced and just spend some time repairing your credit. It took me and my husband less than one year to get approved for $225K with 100% financing on a beautiful home.
As a Sumter native, I was pleased to see a theater move in that could show more than three movies at a time. That excitement quickly faded when I realized the quality of service was below par. The customers are typical of Sumter: loud mouth idiots who refuse to shut their mouths or turn off their cell phones. I would suggest making a trip out of town if you want to enjoy the movie you're overpaying to see.
