Paddy's Coffee House
This coffee shop gives union city a little trendy spot to hang out. It's open really early just in case you need that kick before work, but also if you're looking for a quiet place to study without much distraction, I'd definitely reccomend this place. The coffee isn't too expensive and the service is really nice, which makes it that much more appealing to continue to come back.
Jojoli Bakeshop & Restaurant
There are so many choices of different types of breads, ones for breakfast, just a snack or a delicious dessert. This place has been running since I was a little kid and I've always enjoyed coming and picking out my favorite item. If you don't want something too week, the regular bread is enough to satiate you. Also if you want to plan for a party, they also do larger platters of dessert plates.
Kims Head To Toe
I can't tell you how upset i was when i walked out of this salon. All i asked for was a little trim and I pointed exactly where I wanted my hair to be cut. Much to my dismay the actual hair cut was about two inches shorter than I had expected. Needless to say, I will never be returning to this place ever again, and I highly do NOT reccomend this place.
Speed Oil Change Ctr
I've only been here to get an oil change for my car, but I never waited too long and I always felt like they did a better job than some of the other places that i've been to. Another bonus is that they vaccumm your car for you for free. Also, they let you know if something is wrong and you can see them working on your car from outside, so it puts your mind a little more at ease.
New Yorker Pizza
This place is probably the closest thing to a realy new york pizza that you'll get in Union City. The price of one of the largest slices of pizza you'll ever eat is really inexpensive and one slice is ALWAYS more than enough! They also have whole pizzas, so if you're looking to feed a lot of people, this is your place!
West Lake Restaurant
If you want a sit down place for a family style dinner then I'd greatly reccomend this restauraunt. The main entrees are on special for about 5.50 per plate and they give you soup and dessert with that! It's sucha good deal and it's so perfect for families that want to eat different types of things.
Soon Kee Noodle House
If you're looking for a place that serves delicious rice/noodle plates and pho soup, then this place is perfect. I'm not a huge pho eater, but I absolutely love the rice noodle plates here. The price is very inexpensive and they serve so much food. You will definitely feel as though you're getting your money worth.
Taqueria Los Gallos
There isn't much variance between this place and other restaraunts similar to it; but the environment is much cleaner and they give you free chips! The side bar is also really clean and offers a huge variety. I prefer this place to any other for these exact reasons.
Naked Fish Japanese Cuisine
The workers here are really nice and very helpful when ordering. The price is about in the median range, and the food is of course, really good. The serving is quite generous as well it's not too much and not too little. It's just enough to keep you full and satisfied. I'd reccomend the teriyaki lunch special bento plates, they've never let me down!
Hong Kong Restaurant
I've been coming to Hong Kong Restauraunt for years! They changed management a few years ago, i think, but the food has always been great. I've neve complained about the taste and the serving size is always pretty generous. The price is about average and I really think you get what you pay for.
