I was referred here after being in the Lakewood Ranch ER. I have insurance so I was not in need of free care. I felt as though the staff could care less amount my problem. Any time I asked the staff a question, I had to interupt their gossip sessions. When I called to schedule appointments, I was given a date three weeks out. When I expressed to the person on the phone the urgency of my issue, I was transferred to the Head Nurse. The Head Nurse told me I should go to the ER if I was in so much pain but that I was given the first available appointment.
The one and only time I went to the GYNO, I was pleased with the doctor. However, if you can't get back to see him in a timely manner, what's the point.
This center targets a certain market. If you are not in need of their services, seek help elsewhere.
