They have limited hours but if you call you can usually get an appt within 24 hours. Quiet office and a good doc, but pricey, and they will sell you a product for whatever issues you bring up- which could be considered good or bad.
They have a good group of docs, but the office is so crowded it is frequently easier to sit outside and wait. The prices tend to be lower than other local vets so the wait is worthwhile.
I love Dr Sherman but his eyesight is not the best, so if that is important to whatever is going on with your animal you may need to request a tech to come in and do the looking part.
I've only dealt with one other doc and he was very careful and compassionate. They have changed to an appointment system so the things I dislike may be much better. If it wasn't so crowded and disorganized I would give them 4 stars.
Dr Steinke and a local doc agreed he would take out a tooth that had abcessed and was creating a life threatening situation. When the person arrived he refused to treat because of insurance. If insurance was a factor for him he could have asked ahead of time, but once you make the agreement and the patient is there, and very sick, I say take the 15 minutes and pull the dam tooth.
I would not patronize this guy for that reason.
These are the guys I got to do 2 moves with me, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. They are efficient, careful, they will take apart and reinstall whatever they take apart. they show up on time and then never stop- I was a little worried the first time, but these guys are atheletes. It's amazing how much they can fit in their van.
I recommend them without reservation.
The food was excellent but I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to stop in and the parking lot was chock full. So I don't even consider it anymore. But if you can get in I recommend it.
They have a play centre for the kids to burn off a little steam and they are open (with a limited menu) all night. The staff is friendly, and there is a huge advantage in showing up at night since everything is made extra fresh.
Man, I love this place. If you ever need a good feed with the family they have great homemade food and a relaxed atmosphere. Be sure to take home a loaf of their homemade bread- it is heaven as french toast.
They are requiring that you specifically ask for tomato on your burger- you don't get it auto matically.
The salad dressings have more calories than the rest of the salad put together.
The food tastes great and I really love their french fries. I dislike the fact that they put extra grease on the buns to make the burger taste juicy- I usually just throw that part of the bun away.
Really like the Angus beef burger.
They were very helpful, and I was pleased with the service when I bought my home, however one house they showed me had a rotting roof. the entire roof would need to be taken off and replaced if I had bought it. They did not reveal this to me, but I assumed it was because they didn't know- couldn't believe they would hold that back.
Not a week later, and for several months afterwards I saw an ad for the same house in the paper with the description "low maintenance." That house needed a few months of construction to be liveable, and they knew it because I pointed it out to them. I absolutely would not recommend them just based on that experience.
I need to add that is you choose to hire a home inspector do not hire the guy the realtor recommends- he knows that if he ruins the sale they will not recommend him again. But that's a topic for another review.
